They would tell you to turn around before they straight up shot you. Unless I am blind on the cruelty of there government.
They aren't a Soviet police state anymore soooooooooooooo
What are the coordinates to the place again? I can't find them in the thread. I probably keep missing em D:
I looked on Maps then, not sure if I did anything wrong but the whole place is just covered by the shadow of a cloud. Also, ring is still in the background faintly, seems to drop in and out. Goddamn ringing / beeping is one of those printers.
Alright, It's roughly 62 Kilometers if I'm right. Hold on, calling my friend, I'll report back on if he agrees to check it out or not :3 EDIT: Okay, he agreed to check it out if he has time today, and that if he couldn't directly go to the place, he would try to uncover some dirt on the place by asking around. Although he seemed kind of pissed off that I called at around 4 in the morning over there. So now all I have to do is wait until he calls me back tomorrow. Hopefully all goes well.
That is great :D I'm still logging, though nothing has happened...
BUZZ. BUUUUZZ. BUUUUUUZZ. That's all i hear
You can't hear the ringing / beeping in the background. It's so clear, clearly hardware. May just be static, doesn't sound so good close up.
You can't hear the ringing / beeping in the background. It's so clear, clearly hardware. May just be static, doesn't sound so good close up.
Could be an issue with the repeater hardware. EDIT: wow my reply got raped by pictures
Fake? And why are you/the person wearing a hazmat suit? Another Edit: I think that was your 69th post, FreeThinker :)
They were confirmed fake? Waste of bandwith D:
No, they weren't. http://englishrussia.com/index.php/2010/08/28/inside-the-mysterious-uvb-76-station/
No, they weren't.
pretty sure they got debunked about 20 pages back

Slope from that chat room says those photos were in a Russian newspaper. So they aren't fake?

This would explain why the signal is played simply using a mic instead of an input. -snip-
My opinion is, they're testing nuclear rocket systems as there's a nuclear threat from US and Israel as Russia has finished building Iran's nuclear reactor and signed contract to defend Iran, not just the reactor it built. In other words, we may be quite close to a nuclear war if something goes wrong.
SparkHawk: Words for the radio messagees and code tables are selected mainly from scientific terms of chemistry (brohman) I found Broman on what I linked above, first radio script or something. Someone claimed the first letters of the names translated from morse spell brohan. FInd the morse. G'night.
Words for the radio messages and code tables are selected mainly from scientific terms of chemistry (brohman) I believe I saw BROMAN before. When all you hear is static, we believe that is weather. on Google maps you could clearly see a cloud overhead the building. That's interfering with the signal. Also: http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ru&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fweb.archive.org%2Fweb%2F20030414090619%2Fhttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.geocities.com%2Fuvb76%2Fuvb76.html Logs below of the radio transmission. It's eastern time, PM. [editline]09:36PM[/editline] WARNING: FAIRLY LONG. I dunno if this will help at all. I hope it will. Time: 6:48 Just the honking. Slight static. Honks sound like a truck horn Time: 6:56 The honks either cut out for a second or got so quiet I couldn’t hear them. The things are getting REALLY quiet now when they lower in volume... Time: 7:03 Getting REALLY quiet and not getting louder again. Time: 7:04 Nvm. Someone in chat said they might have heard a sneeze. I honestly don’t think this is just some f*cked up radio signal... It’s just not static-ey enough, ya’ know? Honking noises don’t come from messed up singals... Time: 7:23 A couple minutes ago some people in chat claimed to hear a ringing. I didn’t get the exact time, sorry. Time: 7:25 I heard a small noise. It sounded like something was being picked up by someone. Person in chat heard it also. Time: Around 7:29 Thought I heard ringing, but I’m not really sure. Whenever I put my ear really close to the comp I cant hear it anymore... I’m pretty sure it’s just the static. Time: 7:32 Either the static got louder, or there is a fan of some sort... Time: 7:34 A sound like someone tapped the microphone. Happened twice, maybe within 30 seconds of each other. Time: 7:58 Heard some more mic-tapping. People in chat did too. Time: 8:02 Another one of those sounds, this time with more static. Time: 8:04 A ringing sound will come on just like the honking, at the same time. Stopped soon after it started. Time: 8:07 Static increasing/ getting louder. Time: 8:21 Small noises like ringing phones in the background sometimes. Time: 8:58 More microphone tapping. This time it was really clear. Time: 9:09 Got extremely quiet. Can barely hear it. Time: 9:15 It kicked back on suddenly. It was playing the beeping just nonstop. The static now sounds like trains stopping, the squeaky noise of the brakes. It stopped having a pattern. Then the beeping started actually beeping again. It alternated between beeping and nonstop a few times. Time: About 9:17 It went back to beeping, and the static turned back to normal. Beeping alternating still Time: 9:22 Beeping cut out. Only static. --- Finally, we all believe this is something to do with rockets, missiles. And look at my earlier post, please :3 [editline]09:45PM[/editline] Finally, one more thing before I go to bed. We may have found their email. uvb76@yahoo.com.hk I suggest no one email them until we all get together and decide what to write.
Those are just their stupid opinions. It's clearly a radiostation, judging by the apparature. This would explain why the signal is played simply using a mic instead of an input.
he didn't say it wasn't a radio station, just that it wasn't uvb-76, it's supposedly from a Duga-3 installation like the russian woodpecker.
My opinion is, they're testing nuclear rocket systems as there's a nuclear threat from US and Israel as Russia has finished building Iran's nuclear reactor and signed contract to defend Iran, not just the reactor it built.
When all you hear is static, we believe that is weather. on Google maps you could clearly see a cloud overhead the building. That's interfering with the signal. Finally, one more thing before I go to bed. We may have found their email. uvb76@yahoo.com.hk I suggest no one email them until we all get together and decide what to write.
Google maps is not a live image, that picture was taken months maybe even years ago. and that email is for the geocities site you linked to why exactly would what everyone is assuming is a clandestine radio broadcast based in russia have an email address... and why on earth would it be a yahoo email address from yahoos hong kong site? Remember none of us know what UVB-76 is used for, all we know is it buzzs once every 2.1seconds and sometimes its interrupted.
Actually. You're right. My previous post was mostly stupid >< But, it did get irregular at one point... We're doing some more research now... Hopefully we'll find something Edit: The first radiogram of uzb-76 was called broman. Brohman in Russian = брохман That's it. I quit :P
Those pictures were said to be fakes earlier in the thread.
Again, the guy that said they were fake is probably like the people who say the radio station is a rickroll. They're lying and have no clue what they're talking about.
It is an ARG.
also, missiles. Seriously, i doubt the info about it being used for missiles and military use would be so easy to find, but the broman thing is interesting. /PSP post
