You're always going to be hearing voices. The only voices that are notable is when the buzzer stops, and a person starts giving out number codes.
Anyone speak Russian? I know it's not likely to be relevant what they're saying now, but could still be interesting
I remember this Shit went down, but it wasn't serious
Why do you guys still care?
Why do you guys still care?
Because fuck you.
What happend anyways?
nothing absolutely nothing
That beeep.... *static noise* BEEEP *static noise* Is NOT a morse code, a morse code has combined beep's. This is nothing really.

Typing on an iPhone is a bitch.
Uhh. Please, Give me a link to the stream. And somebody said a few pages back that there is/was a FP Chatroom. Is it still open? [editline]26th December 2010[/editline] Found the chatroom. It is the facepunch UVB-76 group. Also, Anyone tried to decode those as a picture? Like in Portal ARG, there were pictures in sound files.
It's an abandoned military station, read a few pages earlier and you'll see that they have pictures from inside of it. Typing on an iPhone is a bitch.
the pictures are fakes dude...it was explained before and surely they would have taken a couple of pics of the transmitter AND the station is a live mic...meaning there is something making that buzzing next to the mic and if we hear music, transmissions, voices, tvs , printers and hairdryers that means somebody is there....plus some of the pics make the place look like it is flooded so that means no electrical meaning it cant broadcast

This again, good thing it never gets old [editline]26th December 2010[/editline] By the way legend has it if it stops Russia is gonna nuke everyone in part of a non-fail safe tactic.
Sorry if this is in the wrong section or hastily typed. I've been monitoring the transmission for several hours, after what sounded like a television or radio was placed close to the mic, and objects could be heard falling near the mic. Several minutes ago, UVB-76 transmitted a sequence of Morse code signals. I'm uploading my recordings now. You can listen here: http://uvb-76.blogspot.com/, or listen to the broadcasts on Justin.tv: http://www.justin.tv/rampageturke/#/w/339155344/2 [editline]1[/editline] Here's some of the recordings I've gathered over the past few hours: http://filesmelt.com/dl/recording1-21-47-len.mp3 Start time: 02:31 PM Eastern End time: 02:52 PM Eastern Here's the morse code transmission: http://filesmelt.com/dl/trans3morse-03-33pm_eastern.mp3 Recorded at 3:33PM Eastern; the actual transmission begins around 2:45 in the file. Also notice the beep just before and immediately after the morse code transmission. I can't tell if it's something serious or just Russia maximum trolling

Oh Jesus Christ, please do not let this thread die!! Also I would apreciate it if I did not get a warning or ban for bumping a one week old thread. Thank you!!! Edit: Oops, my bad, 5 months
buzzer stopped....then it was active.....and then it stopped for a brief while....will check if buzz is back yet.... [editline]3rd January 2011[/editline] nope...it aint back
It sounds like some cars are blocking a giant truck
I was expecting a serious update, ohwell :c
It's not a normal morsecode, you need programs to read it. If you rate, boxes. Disagrees. You can surely ask my dad as he was a radio operator before. He was an expert. You don't know anything if you do.
Considering the USSR has been sending spies all over the world for a while, I'd say the station is used to forward messages to these spies. I do not think it's a dead man's switch for a device of some sort because it hasn't sent morse codes frequently enough. Besides, the soviet union never had good enough technology to produce a reliable device. I think the beeps are a sign to the recieving device to listen a secondary source. But i wouldn't spend too much thinking about this because if it's a deadman's switch the uses are limitless, and the morse codes would be just numbers which is used for the X system to verify the legimity of the source. Thus making the listening pointless, Even if it was a station meant to forward messages to spies it still wouldn't be worth of listening because of the source jumps and most importantly because they most likely use one-time-use codes to open the messages and overall changing standards for decrypting the message.
it's actually a device that a russian man has to put numbers into every now and again or the world will end true story.
Are you guys still listening to these beeps?
And all of you will shit bricks when you hear sssSSSSsss BOOM one day :) Honestly, I think its fun to listen to, but it means nothing. Why wouldnt they use a digital signal from a satellite? I would also think they wouldn't broadcast anything secret as any other gov. agency would decipher it.
