I had this done last friday, hurts like a BITCH when you have to replace the wrap 3 days after(Think pulling jagged shrapnel out of muscle, slowly), But I'm immune to anything that relieves pain so can be different for you, and it hurts a tiny bit at first when you walk, but it's easy to ignore after a while.

Fuck that, as soon as i saw the scalpel or whatever tool they were using go into the toe, i stopped the video.
So Ive had this ingrown toenail for about a year now, and I'm finally getting it taken care of. Regarding recovery of my toe, anything that i should know? Should i shower with it inside the shower? Is it okay to have sex while recovering? How painful is recovery?
You have my sympathies, friend.
I had both sides of both my big toenails removed because of ingrowing toenails. It was a pain in the arse (and toe).
My best advice is to keep it clean. Bathing it in salt water is best.
Unfortunately, if your toenail is anything like mine was, it will take about six months to get back to normal.
I've had several ingrown toenails, you'll be fine. Unless you're planning on something really kinky.
We were only plannin upside-down ankle twisting pile driver suplux position, nothing to complicated until you learn to relocate your shoulders
I got my surgery a few months ago and I'm about to get another one. They have to inject you four times around the base of the toe with a fucking PAINFUL novacain injection. After that it's smooth sailing, although afterwards you might be aching all night.
Although, I only had to have it wrapped for the night and I just had to put a regular old bandage on it for three weeks.
Cool. Toenail surgery. I didn't know they did that.
It's only for pussies that can't dig the toenail out with a knife.

Okay chill out Rambo, sorry i don't want it more infected than it already is.
This thread made my butt clench up. :butt:

That's way different from what they did to me, they pretty much just cut up the right side (Four stitches above the toe nail part) and took the root out that way.
I've had this surgery 4 times.
It's easy, you don't feel a thing, recovery just results in wearing bandaids and soaking your foot in epsom salts.
^Haha wtf
Made me think of them plying your toenail off.:gonk:
Oh i see
Put X's on your legs and arms so they don't fuck up and amputate them
lol im not going to see Dr.Satan
In soviet Russia, I remember no surgery but giant pair of clippers. It make toenail go away along with more of toenail that no grow in. Say no sorry for nub in ingrowns, Say sorry for wussy and going to doctor for a silly reason and surgerying it.
I had one for like a month, I don't wanna go
lol im not going to see Dr.Satan
But he's the best
But he's the best
He has a PhD in sadistic torture and murder! Surely he must be a good doctor!
I have a slight one, I normally tweez it out. If it gets infected, I put boiling water on a paper towel, then put it on the infection bubble thing, and wait for the pain to subside. Not nearly as bad as you think.

"Sadistic torture"
Didn't realize there were other kinds
I got one too. on BOTH sides. it sucks, it's not really walkable at all. if someone steps on it it's fucking horrible and gets bloody. How much is it to have them taken out?
Oddly enough, I had surgery to remove an ingrown toenail on the same toe 6 times. The last time it happened, I just said "Fuck it", and spent all day trying to pick it out. I got it out, and my toe's been fine ever since. Stupid podiatrists.
Heh. My toenail isn't fucked up enough to have an in-grown toenail. I eliminate the threat before it can grow.
You lucky bastard. I've always wanted an ingrown toenail.
----
It'll suck, if you have to get some kind of water cast thingy, you cant move. My aunt had that with ice and water, and she had to lay on the couch for 2 whole days. We lifted her to the toilet.
But then again, she is 52.
My friend once had an ingrown toenail, while playing soccer i kicked him severely in that foot. I feel bad about that... but oh well, his fault for having his foot in my kick direction
I've got ingrown toe surgery many times.
It's not really bad actually because the only "painful" part is when the doctor sticks the needle around your toe. It's smooth sailing after that.
Oh man coincidence i've just had this done.
Sucks because the bandage on my toe is so big i cant get shoes on.
Also it feels fine for like 3 hours afterwards then when the Anaesthetic wears off it hurts like hell for 10 minutes then its fine again.
Also big toes bleed like a bitch.
OP hasn't posted for a while
The toenail must have got him
