My girlfriend wasn't allowed to join a sorority because of me.

Almost like she's trying to blame you for something you had no part in, so that she can avoid blaming herself.
Why is it that the girl's parents have any say over whether she joins the club or not? Are they footing the bill or what?
Oh god, advice from a bunch of people who have never had girlfriends and probably never will. "SHE'S YOUR PROPERTY SLAP HER AROUND LOL". Yeah, maybe if you want to spend a night in your local police station.
In all serious, I hate to be sexist but girls do this all the time. It's not your fault and you should be firm about it not being your fault or she'll just do more shit like this.
You know why girls do this all the time for you? BECAUSE YOU DIDN"T SLAP YOUR BITCH! LOL
Because you totally held a gun to her head and forced her not to make a choice that was hers to make...
Then she goes and blames it on everyone but her, brilliant.
Sororities are full of feminist cunts and/or cumsluts.

Who doesn't love cumsluts?
What the hell is sorotity?
Sorrow titty.
Noun.
Your grandma's sad, sagging breasts are sorrow titties.
Your girlfriend might have autism.
She could always join later on. I waited until my second semester of college to jump into greek life. It is something that you definitely need to weigh the pros and cons over and waiting it out this semester will give her more time to get to know girls in all of the different sororities.
But tell her you support her either way, because your pressure seems to have swayed her decision a bit.
Dump her. Real talk. Not because of this BS situation, but because long distance relationships suck. You're in college, dude....yeah, 'nuff said...
According to the U.S. Department of Education, fraternity and sorority members drink more than other students, and are therefore more likely to suffer the effects of alcohol abuse, such as poor academic performance, missing classes, fights, vandalism, injuries, and sexual assault, than the general college population.[16] In addition, the heavy drinking at the college level may lead to higher levels of alcohol abuse later in life.
A goddamn favor, you did for her
This is your cue to back out bro. She's not worth it if she's pissed at you for something as silly as this. Especially when it's not your fault.
just remember: Thumb drops, the bullshit stops
She is being female OP, this is normal.
What this man said....
A goddamn favor, you did for her
I am a part of greek life on my campus, I don't drink and out of my own observation it is just mainly the guys that are notorious for getting shitfaced every night. But you have to keep a certain GPA to even be in a fraternity/sorority. (My organization makes us keep a minimum of 2.9 and I hold a 3.4 currently.)
Ditch the bitch and stick with your right hand. :smug:
I once joined a sorority, now I have a penis.
There's a lot of background information, but the gist of it is that we're in a long distance relationship, and last summer she told me she didn't really want to join one when she got into college. Problem is, she did want to. So she brought it up to her parents, and they basically said "well, you told him you didn't want to do it, and that's what you told us, and so we don't think you've thought this through enough. plus it's really expensive and stuff so yeah."
So then I find out from her that she was really only telling me that to make me happy but she'd always intended to join one, but she didn't tell her parents that. So now it seems that [I]I'm/I] to blame for this, and she's pissed at me and her parents and everyone, and I'm worried about it. She's not the type that forgets about these things, and I don't want her to be mad at me. :saddowns:
But on the other hand, I'm really glad she's NOT joining one, but I can't tell her that, for obvious reasons.
Not your fault, shes a bitch its her fault
Shes blaming you for her own decisions. Your relationship sounds dated brah. I would start collecting my things.
Rate me boxes, but wtf is a sorority?
A place for girls to become nuns? I always had a fetish for military uniforms and nuns :allears:
