You can't have double standards "I enjoy the death of pigs because it tastes so great, but puppies? Fuck that." a life is a life, eaten or not. Personally I don't give a shit about any of this, so yea. I'd never abuse an animal, but if you do it shouldn't ruin a life over it, maybe a firm slap would do.

Animal cruelty is insane, but did you know that fish have no pain receptors? There was a research on it, and they had a goldfish get mauled by a Snakehead, and there was no recognizable pain in the goldfish what so ever.

Dogs were also wardens of the house, used for military (still used) operations, still used a police and law enforement animals, drug sniffers, blind people assistents, as well as several other jobs and positions that only animals could be used for.

So, let me get things straight, its okay to drown 6 retarded children beacuse they cant contribute to society? Drowning 6 puppys would be the same as that, you would let a potential serial killer to be out in the open just beacuse she can contribute to society more than 6 dogs? I say she needs to be locked up in a mental institute for life, not killed or drowned, but letting a psychopath like that roam about freely isnt a good idea. I was referring to Western standards of livestock treatment, I said "I don't know about China" because I honestly don't know of the standards most Chinese livestock have, I was not implying one way or the other.

Oh look its this thread again. [editline]12:33AM[/editline] I don't see a problem with hunting as long as you use the animal (for more than just a trophy), you kill it humanely(not purposely shooting it to prolong it's death and pain), and the animal is not endangered. Other than that just follow the regular hunting laws and stay in season.
