Wow that's lovely! I think I'll give that a go, there's so much detail in there.
How big was yours? Also, what type of eraser did you use?
It was somewhere in the realm of 18x24 I think. I don't know what the eraser I used was called, it was a black rectangular charcoal eraser that I cut a wedge off with a box cutter.
Also stayed up to 3 doing this and it's full of mistakes fml

And so very different as well.
Seriously a big change between the three first (from the right).
Yeah, it's a surprisingly hard assignment. On each column you have to keep your values separated in consistent increments, maintain the right amount of saturation, make sure the hue stays the same, AND try to keep the value gradation consistent with all the other columns. There's hella stuff I can see wrong on mine, but it could have turned out a lot worse haha.
was that in gouache?
I had to do that in a graphic design class last year.
Was a lot harder than I thought. I ended up giving up halfway through because I kept messing up.

Dude, you've improved an incredible amount since I last saw your work. I think it was a george washington comic at the time? I miss these forums.
Draw a booby please

My drawing teacher said "no T&A" for the sketchbook so i think i'm gonna do a page that's two boobies and a donkey
What the fuck kind of a rule is that?
Teaching you to draw and telling you that drawing tits and ass is not allowed in your school sketchbook? WHAT?!
is there some sort of shading guide you're using or

It doesn't mean, like, no nude figure drawing. But this major has a lot of pervy nerds so her pre-emptive caution isn't unjustified hahah
is there some sort of shading guide you're using or
I'm not sure what you mean by shading guide. Most of the stuff I'm doing is from life or photo reference, so I just do my best to copy the shadow shapes. The more you do that the better an idea you (hopefully) get about how they work for when you draw stuff from scratch
Maybe you can draw some goblins? Or just bastards in general.
Draw some Great Tits!

You should draw a nude picture, and replace the tits and ass with dicks.

And I like the doggie picture.
Can't play Skyrim until semester is over. NEXT BEST THING

Yeah, i saw it, and though it was easy.
Then i started it and almost punched everything off my desk in a rage of color.
So for a major project we had to do charcoal reversals, which is where you take a big piece of illustration board and rub charcoal into it until it's pitch black, then erase a picture out of it. We found old photos and had to reproduce them as accurately as possible. It was a huge project--I spent about 12 straight hours on it the day before it was due.

Are you using marker? I cant figure out your medium
Brush pens. They kinda suck for big geometric fills but o well
are these from reference photos or done from life?

Reminds me of comic scenes from heroes.
I like the little doodles under the top left sketches.

The aerial view one is from life/photo, other ones are made up.
Just got a nice scan of that gargoyle drawing. Pretty sure this is the coolest drawing I did this semester.

There's some Escheresque impossibleness happening behind the gargoyle but other than that I think it works pretty well.
You should progressively start drawing really fucking creepy shit in your sketchbook and then for the final page at the end of the semester, just draw some like horrifying murder scenes involving your classmates and mindfuck your teacher to the point where she passes you solely based on fear.

And boobies.

Besides yeah the squiffy building behind the gargoyle the perspective looks spot on, your artwork is amazing would look great in colour. Seems like a frame from a photorealistic graphic novel atm.
