Yeah bacon is overrated, it's alright but certainly not the best and I wouldn't really want it first thing in the morning.
Maybe you just dont like it fried try it grilled. Its much better in my opinion, in Britain you see grilled bacon a lot more than in america where I have only ever seen it fried.

The juice that comes out of rare meat is 99% water from the muscle tissue. The blood is more or less completely drained during the butchering process.

Actually the heart is a pretty decent cut of meat, seeing as it's all just one big ball of muscle tissue.
