I don't see what the big deal is about certain parts of an animal being eaten. e.g. the heart, kidney, tongue, feet, etc. they're just as much meat as everything else
You just haven't had good bacon. I feel the same way about my parents bacon, but if cooked right, it's amazing. IHOP has really good bacon. My friend's sis also makes really good bacon.
