Sums up watching football for me. Rugby at least is a bit exciting at times. Maybe it's just cause the Irish international team is god awful at soccer.

It's ok. I enjoy football. When I lived in Sant Cugat, I saw LaPorta every day :smug: From a distance, obviously.
I honestly like Ice hockey better than football.
I called it soccer when i was 8-14 years old. When i was 17 i started calling it football
I fucking hate watching football. In a usual game about 10 things usually happen that includes fowls and goals etc.

Just come back from Watford, lost 1 - 0 to Brighton!! Not happy. We had some great chants thought, " Did your boyfriend comb your hair!"

Or the fact the US are the only country that call it that, oblivious to the fact it's the most popular sport in the world.

Got to admit though, American fans are hilarious when they talk about European teams.

"Those God damn Europeans! All they play is soccer why can't they play a man's sport like football?!"
Clearly, the americans are the only ones who refer to it as Soccer (that or very few places), while the rest of the world know it by its proper name as Football.
Wrong, the word soccer originated in ENGLAND.
Wrong, the word soccer originated in ENGLAND.
True, however you don't fnd many fans calling it ''Soccer'' in Britain.
Because the sport is officially called Association Football and as such is called Football for short.
Just got back from the Southampton game, conveniently.
Great game. United just got lucky.
I never liked Football. All they do is trip and cry and miss every shot. Its hockey except retarded

Not every player is Cristiano Ronaldo.
Why do most football videogames suck balls ? (no pun intended)
PES is the only one playable
How is American football or that Aussie gayshit even football? They hold the ball in their hands. Football most likely refers to playing/kicking the ball with feet, not holding it in hands.

The ball is a foot long.

The only people who do stuff like this are people who sit on their PC all day playing games and listening to British people and never actually get out and talk to people from their own country.

I can't say anything about Aussie but in American football they still kick the ball for punts, field goals, and extra points.
AFL is mostly kicking iirc
Also, Australia lost to Japan :(
