IPK hate to break it to you but your tech is god moddingly impossible, there is no way a civilization such as yours could exist. The moment your army started using the equivolant of a bane-blade you started breaking the rules stated in the OP. After many months of isolation from the rest of the world, and strange reports of extraterrestrial activity, news is received from areas in the middle east. It seems a new empire has been formed there, which is ruled by a sole unknown leader.
The New Seljuq Empire takes back land which had been taken by the Socialist League and their allies. They threaten with war if they attack once more.
Relations with Russia are also improving, and a joint plasma weaponry research project begins. Thanks to the two countries working together, the research project will be finished much faster than it would have been separately.
They also begin researching the █████████, inspired by the upcoming space projects of the Terrans.

The Terran Republic accepts the NER's trade agreement, and trade from foreign countries to the west begins to flow.
The Terran Republic forms an alliance with the new Seljuq Empire, and begins a [REDACTED] research project.
Further projects are done into Interplanetary and even interstellar travel, the key project at hand being the new railgun based Spacecraft launching system which will hopefully revolutionize the Aerospace industry, making launches far cheaper than they used to be.

If you didn't catch his drift, you should basically advance your tech at a fairly reasonable rate. Aka not from birth to space in two turns.
At the current tech interstellar travel is possible, but it takes more than 100years to enter another solarsystem :v:

1. Not an alien. If you want to know, something crashed in the middle east, and the governments were being paranoid crazy to keep what they found a secret. I just added the monarchy thing since it's a new empire and this is a fucking alternate timeline.
2. Also, the research for plasma is still gonna take ages, but if you like, we can just post gradual research things, and eventually get to the tech we want at the same time we would have finished it normally (which would still take fucking ages)

And I'm just starting space researches, what's wrong with that?
Also, it'd be quite hard to be worse than IPK, so I reject that statement.

Slight map update, also GM needed hardcore if we want to keep this alive. GM elections should be held foremost. I for one will run as a candidate, any and all other candidates should approach and post. Any who appose the installment of a GM say your argument now, if people overwhelming agree that we would do better without a Gm then okay. But for now it seems we need one!

1) Monorails are basically only used in city's public transport and normal railroads can handle +500km/h speeds. Maglev's are for really highspeed intercity passanger traffic and they're really expensive.
2) Plasma is already used in many thing, in fluorecent lamps and stuff.
3) Nations has been already developing laser and plasma and gauss weapons for long time, but they all are inefficient, impractical and too expensive, and they might easily break in wet battlefield.
4)Trust me i am an engineer :v:

I trust you but when communist and socialist nations are the most advanced scientifically and technologically it is basically going against almost everything that has happened in modern history. Not to mention all of those things may exist but no one has weaponized them properly (aside from rail guns).
But I'm not the one arguing super advanced sciences here (despite it being very aggravating that it seems only about two other nations are modern and behind.) You guys can do what you want as long as it isn't retardedly OP (like IPK)
