That's why you write your dreams down when you wake up. I just started doing that recently.

Rarely but I ever do I manage to be aware that I am dreaming. But funnily enough I'm still set by certain limitations.
An example would be that I know I am dreaming and I want to go to my house to do something, but my house is far away and I need to travel there from where I currently am. I can't just teleport there or anything like that, I have to literally travel there either by walking or public transport.

The problem is that as you start to remember and pick apart your dreams they start fading because they make less and less sense to your conscious mind.

The brain is exponentially more complicated than DNA.
I hear that if you have one of those dreams where you're falling off something and about to hit the ground.. well usually wake up before you hit the ground. But if you do hit t he ground.. you're dead.
That's what I meant, It'll be awhile. But technology also exponentially growing more efficient, so I'm sure my grandchildren will be able to, in at least some crude form, watch their dreams. I mean, the brain sure is a lot more than a bunch of nucleotides, but I'm sure it has some sort of pattern scientists could follow.

I read somewhere that if you let yourself fall you can have an out-of-body experience.
It's exactly the same thing as how an artist can draw a character despite never having actually seen that particular character in reality before. It's merely a process of your imagination, don't try and attatch some bullshit spiritual pseudo science to it.

That's not how it works. Your brain doesn't usually archive faces from dreams, so it leaves holes in your conscious memory of the dream. Normally you'd ignore it and go about your business but if your brain gets stuck on that hole in the memory, it'll look for something to replace it. By reading this, you remind your subconscious of the holes in memory, and this man is what your brain uses to plug the holes - because you're looking at him right now and reading about him being the man in your dreams. This man is not actually the face in your dreams. You could just as easily remember everyone having brick faces if that's what triggered the memory.

Yeah but don't you wake up before your body is actually hit or hurt? Because normal people usually do. Well when their about to fall off great heights and hit the ground at least.
I always jerk awake at those cliff falling dreams.

Well our brains are designed to recognize faces, and by extension we know what a face should look like. It's not hard to make new faces out of those rules.
