Well that's great if he's using it as an actual drag racer, but to put one of those things on a day-to-day commuter car is just plain dumb.

No, but everything needs to fit together nicely. Putting bright white wheels, loud exhaust, and a huge spoiler on what appears to be a simple, black two-door sedan makes it look irregular. Putting them on something that looks like a more hardcore sportscar is a lot more fitting.

Well if it's just something you're using to go to a dragstrip or racetrack somewhere and race then it makes sense. The Evo is a performance car, and it more-or-less looks like one too.
Besides, there are methods of adding HP that sound more dignified.

What do you not understand about HOMOLOGATED WRC RALLY CAR. You cant really get much hardcore than that without it being one of the actual rally cars.

Only toyota would make a homologated rally car look so boring. Sure, it may have the performance of a rally car on the inside. On the outside it looks like a rather standard two-door sedan, and putting parts like those on a standard looking two door sedan just gives it an audacious, incongruous appearance.

anyway super noodle, here's the original 1994 advert for my car, you can clearly see the wing. you could get them without though, and after 1996 they came with a smaller spoiler, but it was brought back for the 1998 model then the new celica was brought out.
it makes 100kg of downforce at 60mph. or is it 60kg downforce at 100mph? i dunno, but it wouldn't really be a gt-four without it would it? that's what makes it distinctive.[/URL]

Green wheels aren't my flavor either. There's a white Mazdaspeed 3 that works near me with green CE28 Volks and it just doesn't flow well.
I'm really surprised you guys like my truck. She's a hunk of junk to most (to my state she's worth $500 :v:) but to me, she's a second girlfriend (and has just as many needs...) and I love her.
I'd kill for an old Chevy/GMC. If only I could afford to feed one...
