California Facepunch Meet-up - General

I'm gonna be in LA all next week attending Siggraph and/or taking pictures around the city. Anyone from that area?

LA is pretty much 3 hours max from more than half of all the posters in here

Yeah, but I don't feel like asking people to drive that far to meet up. Just figure if someone's near town doing something might help kill time when I don't have panels to attend, since my dad has the high-access pass to the convention and I somehow got off'd with a regular. :argh:

I live around L.A as well. Don't see whats wrong with Downtown L.A around Nokia Center and Staples Center vicinity.

Theres also theres Dodger Games but I'd need a ride, I live by the beginning of the Gold Line. Metro Gold links up at Union Station in Downtown.

I hear during the event there's something at south beach or something, said it was a famous beach and would be interesting. I'll see if it's open, or siggraph pass only. Otherwise, I wouldn't mind just toting around town with some people, I'd like to see the sights :buddy:

Sunday morning through thursday afternoon. Not sure on when I'll be in and out of the event, so I'll try and post when I find out the schedule.
