Tables brought nothing but problems there. Rather than requesting tables for OP formatting, why not just request at the minimum a centre tag? Because using tables to centre shit is archaic and fucking dumb anyway seeing how much shit it broke.

As I said before, something like a [center] align would do, you can restrict it to OPs if really needed. OPs are meant to be informative and they're better read when centered.

It seems like using the tables stops big thread OPs from just being a giant list. I would've thought most people these days have wide enough screens that there's just going to be a lot of wasted space.

[/QUOTE] You are aware that even for thumbed images, the browser still loads the entire image only that it resizes it on the fly clientside? So a thumbed image is just as heavy to load as a non thumbed image, but it's way heavier to render. Ever noticed threads with lots and lots of thumbed images posted? They tend to either turn the scrolling to a crawl or crash the browser.
