I had it once. I suddenly saw a lot of colours and then it was morning like the blink of an eye.
Happened to me once after I got to our friends' house on a long flight to NZ. My head literally touched the pillow and I was asleep. Was awesome.
This happened to me once during a math class. I blinked and had suddenly teleported to the floor.
It sometimes happens to me when I try to fall asleep. Worst thing is, if I had it once, it will happen to me at least once again in the next 5 hours (the fast sleeping periods are really short for me).
I've had this before when I took 2 milligrams of Xanax and then laid down to watch TV. If you take a recreational dose of Xanax and then get comfortable, you're pretty much guaranteed to pass out and feel the phenomenon.
It happened to me today, i got to sleep around 15:00 and woke up like 18:40 and it felt like 4minutes went by..
It mostly happens when I don't have any dreams. Some dreams take ages to get over. Sometimes it's like a dream but it's plain black and it's very boring.
My brain must be fucking retarded or something. I've never done this, I've never had a lucid dream, and hell I don't even remember any of my dreams anymore. Oh yeah that's right I had one about Saw (fucking Spencer's Saw masks) the other night, but other than that the last dream I remembered was a LONG time ago.
I remember once closing my eyes, then opening them again to see that I had slept 8 hours.
i wasn't fucking tired at all and suddenly i blinked and it was morning!
ive had it a couple of times it was awesome i would just get up the next day where i wouldnt be acheing or feel tired which leads to having a great day the thing that pissed me off the most ifs how i always wake up 5 minutes before my alarm is due to go off
It's happened to me before on a school night. Shit really pissed me off. :argh: I suddenly awoke at 3:00 AM, and then fell asleep and a fraction of a second later my alarm is going off. I felt like I got no sleep between the course of those three hours I apparently slept through.
Never had this, It would piss me off if i was getting to sleep and then all of a sudden my alarms going off for school, That would be awful i hate getting up for school.
This happened once to me, my head hit the pillow and then everything went bright, and i woke and it was day. Freakiest thing!
This happens to me all the time when I am in the car on a long trip... Ill be waching A concert on my Ipod.. And bam.. Ill go from "Shes Got Balls" To the solo of "Jailbreak"

I got this quite a lot when I was younger, I remember once I was in bed watching my dad close the curtains in my room, I basically blinked, and when I opened my eyes again my mum was right there opening the curtains and it was morning. Quite cool, and it saves the hassle of not being able to get to sleep.
This happened to me once, I opened my eyes and it was 30 mins before I get up for school, so i closed my eyes, open them up again and 40 minutes passed
yeah this has happened to me. it sucks.
Never happened to me :saddowns:
You don't feel fresh after that => you need to sleep more. You blinked and you are instantly awake at later time => your body fully recharged some time before waking up and prepared every muscle and brain circuit just in time for planned wake-up. Perfect timing. You were sleepy at the time => you were very tired and didn't remember any dreams nor the fact you've slept. Your internal "clock" was already sleeping by then and didn't quite wake up enough to decode your circadian rhythm into sensible time. Alternative explanation => your memory failed you, making you thinking the current feeling of time is exactly the same as it was when you fell asleep. Just some wild guesses here.
This happened a couple times when I was around 5 years old. I wish it would happen again, but not often, I enjoy sleep.
Happened once when I was 7-ish. I stuck my head under my pillow, reemerged and saw that it was morning.
Happens to me alot.
I wish I could just lay down and suddenly it's morning.
I wish my sleeping lasted longer. As well as my dreams.
Then one night i was sleeping in the floor i closed my eyes
You were sleeping IN the floor?
Shit happens all the time. Especially before I get up to get ready. 6:00 wake up, blink :siren: 6:40 :siren:
I can remember this happening to me once in my entire life. I was like four years old, and I remember closing my eyes, and then what felt like a half a second later was actually 9 hours later. It felt like I had just blinked. It was weird. It was cool at the time, but I've learned to value my sleep. I hate getting up in the morning. This happens to me a lot over short periods of time, like sometimes when I wake up a half an hour before I have to get up, I'll look at the clock and be like, "Oh wow I don't have to get up now." then I blink and all the sudden my alarm is blaring in my face. I HATE IT.
I have never had this before. You are all insane.
