I just love the camera so much
Floating ghost cams were so last decade
wow the part at :52 made me rage
1. terrible voice acting
2. horrible facial animation
3. WHO THE FUCK CARES ABOUT THIS SHIT
4. Terrible audio design. why the fuck is her voice so loud? it doesn't blend at all. completely immersion breaking
I can't believe the idea of walking up to people just to have them repeat one dialogue VERBATIM still exists in videogames. Who LIKES that?
1:21 What the fuck were they thinking... seriously
1:40 Honestly, why
Anyway, this video proves not having a HUD is awesome, and that this game looks sick (as fuck)
Games for Windows Live, FUCK
Games for Windows is different to Games for Windows Live. It just means it's being released for Windows. If anything it'll probably use Steamworks as Bethesda have been using it on some of their recent games.
I laughed at the Quake and Doom references.
Wow, engine looks darn impressive.
How did I not hear about ID or this game until now?!
What? These guys were the fathers of Wolfenstein, Doom and Quake and you've never heard of them?
Since when has an ID game ever not been linear?
Uhh Doom?
Looks pretty neat to me,
Love that electro bolt for the crossbow
I love the ragdoll/damage animations in this.
Just the way people stumble and move around when under fire looks amazing to me.
And not ridiculously like in GTAIV
:sigh:
I hope they optimize this to hell and back, I wanna at least be able to play it.
The lipsync could be better.

Nowhere does it say GFWL. GFW != GFWL.

great im late
I don't know why everybody has to compare this to fallout or borderlands. Sure, it's post apocalyptic, and it's freeroam/semi-freeroam. Yet the game looks and feels completely different.
No it looks exactly like borderlands except less cartoonish
Textures are mud on the consoles
Why do the people always playing in gameplay videos always turn so slow.
Why do the people always playing in gameplay videos always turn so slow.
Not gameplay videos, developer walkthroughs. It's because if they turn too fast, it's too easy to disorientate the viewer. It might make sense to you when you're playing, but the viewer has no knowledge of what the player is doing, except for what he sees.
What a lovely shade of grey-brown.
I love how a random person enters a room you are in and you instantly start whining how you need help and force him to go down there.
And the quake reference was a nice touch, too.
Hope this game won't be shit.
The combat looks brilliant however the lip-syncing/facial animation is really not up to todays standards.
Looks like the game ive always wanted fallout to be.
And Borderlands.
for some bizarre reason this reminded me of pokemon colleseum
It still astonishes me how 7 years later hardly any engine has facial animation as good as Source from 2007. LA Noire doesn't count, that's mocap.
Is this game going to be coop?
Looks amazing.
LA Noire has raised my standards for facial animations far too high. Every person talking in other games looks so unrealistic now.
This game makes me think of Borderlands.
So far it looks like a pretty fun and satisfying shooter, but not really amazing and doesn't really stand out much from other FPS.
They should make the black outlines thinner.
Awesome.
Also, quayola and pinkies. :v:
Oh my god.
So far it looks like a pretty fun and satisfying shooter, but not really amazing and doesn't really stand out much from other FPS.
Just the tools they give you make the game. It's id. Kings of fun weaponry.
Anyone else pick up the Quake 2 sound effect when he picked up the Quayola box?
I love the combat in this game. Just looking at it makes it feel solid and fun.
But now I feel like I want a new computer.
Cool gameplay although as far as I've seen yet, no all that innovative game mechanics. I hope the story and the atmosphere will make up for that. As for the voice acting... The lines are rather cheesy and the voice actors doesn't really seem to be all that good. I can imagine I'm gonna be very tired of hearing "Intruder!" over and over again.
