Honestly, I wouldn't trust any government with a bunch of super powered soldiers but I wouldn't trust the super powered soldiers acting without government supervision either. What? In the comics [sp]Steve was against the government register of super heroes while Tony was the one pushing it. They're on the same side thy always were, it's just the events and the details that are different.[/sp]
and i thought they nailed the suit before, wow. they really went old school with this one, i wonder what it means for the canon. maybe the reboot will follow the core traditional storyline as well?

The suit will probably look a lot better on high definition footage that's not skullfucked by youtube's terrible video compression.
Otherwise it's a sleek and efficient design, with a nice way to implement the expressive eyes that a lot of the previous iterations were lacking.
Also people weren't all that pleased about the Amazing Spiderman's first version of the suit and complained about it being overdesigned and too noisy, makes sense that Marvel Movies would go the opposite way as a result and keep it simple.

The suit is flat and the web lines are small and thin. The previous on screen suits had thick lines that popped out. Also the Toby suit practical quite often. Not that we won't see a real suit here; just that this shot isn't one.

The other suits "read" a lot better.
They should have directly lifted TASM2's suit and put the solid red spider on the back. Objectively perfect.
