And yet they seem perfectly happy with it, after the Heckler and Koch redesign. Also, to answer the original question- the lmg version, called the L86, wasn't very successful as its intended role. However its bipod and free-float barrel (meaning the barrel doesn't touch anything apart from the receiver) mean it's very accurate, and has sort of become a designated marksman rifle.
After the H&K redesign it is quite accurate, this is true, but it's heavy and the only reason they're perfectly happy with it is the good old British superiority complex. They think just because it's made by them it's the best they can get.
Seriously, do the Nagant revolver, if the Mosin Nagant deserves an article despite it's short comings then its pistol counterpart certainly deserves a mention as well. Especially considering it's still in use by some police departments in Russia.
If Dirty Harry was Dirty Ivan, he'd use a Nagant.
it's got 7 shots so that when you kill 6 germans you can kill yourself since reloading was so tedious
No more tedious than the single action army though.
And you're the same guy who went out and got an A1 model DMPS AR15. (the cheapest way to get into an AR15) You're lowballing on firearms. That's fine, not everyone is rich, but you DO get what you pay for. So don't bag on shit just because you can't afford it. Maybe this will help you understand: .
I really don't care about what AR15 I got. It was a gift and at the time all they had were the DPMS Lites. If I really want to I can swap receivers if I ever feel like mounting $500 optics on it so I can plink paper in style. The thing is I can afford a Sig. I can afford many high dollar firearms but for me to actually think of buying them they have to be worth it. Face it, Sigs are good pistols but they command a high price due to their name and history. When you pull your head out of the "The more I pay the better it is" mentality you'd see that there's quite a few quality guns out there for less than even $500 that have the same quality as some of the bigger names out there. What exactly is that the video supposed to make me understand? The $450 XD and $500 beretta worked just as well as the $800+ guns? Yeah the Glock fucked up but when I start holding my gun like a retard I'll start caring. EDIT: Sorry Bean-O I'll leave it alone after this.
I dunno why everyone wants the nagant revolver. Its round could barely stop a rampaging piece of paper.
I dunno why everyone wants the nagant revolver. Its round could barely stop a rampaging piece of paper.
Well it isn't that weak. Wouldn't have seen as much use as it did if it was that underpowered. Besides which it is possible to convert it to .32 and .32 H&R magnum. Not that those calibers are much more powerful. But hey, it's 100$, they're everywhere. If nothing else it would look pretty damn cool in a display case.

The BATFE doesn't get into any hurry over them.
Are there any 6.5x55mm assault rifles?
They cost around 400$ while all the WASRs cost 500.
Wanna buy a waser wifle?

What's the best budget rifle scope for a 10/22?
You can't find any cheap pistols in Australia. The cheapest is a Glock 17 for AUS$900
Could we maybe get an article on the PPS-43?
We already have the PPSH-41.
Ok, my dad put $100 down on a Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine today. Now we just need the Permit To Aquire to come back :v:

Yea, the XD did good, and that's why I own one as opposed to a glock. (Funny you talk about buying into names when you paid more money for an inferior gun just because of the name) Start pointing out the quality guns under $500, because my springfield certainly wasn't under $500. (Truglo TFOs and some other things.) Don't bother pointing out a taurus or a hipoint. And keltec doesn't make a fullsized handgun.
you are stupid on so many different levels
Why? Because I actually attempt to talk some sense into someone? I don't know of any serious gun owners here who disagree with me.

The prices are about $30-50 lower than shelf price because you have to order them to your FFL. So add $30-50 to the price. And yep, the CZ75 is one hell of a prolific firearm. Good pick.

I like being able to know a carry pistol inside and out, and Glock offered that to me. I was originally going for a M&P9 till I held both and decided the Glock was the better one for me. Add to that the fact you can buy parts anywhere you want. Quality firearms under $500. All of the CZ line of pistols can be had for under $500 and they're extremely high quality. Steyr pistols can be had for around $400ish Rock Island Armory makes some pretty decent entry level 1911's for around $400. Taurus PT92 can be had for $400-$450 (Yes I agree Taurus is shit but the PT92 is their one and only good pistol) CZ clones (Baby Eagle, ect) go for less than $500 Ruger P series less than $500. FNP's less than $500 depending on your area. There's definitely more out there but I can't think of them right now. Like I said, you don't need to spend alot to get a quality pistol. I'm not denying that you don't get something good when you buy a high priced pistol, but alot of the time you're paying extra for the name.
This bullshit on a factory new gun is unacceptable.
Oh no a minor blemish.
This bullshit on a factory new gun is unacceptable.
Pre B CZ's haven't been made for quite a while if I recall. It looks like someone just painted over the pitting as Pre b's only came in blue to the best of my knowledge.
