I didn't care much for the shell carrier that was on the side of the stock. Got in the way and was just useless.
A tad off topic, but who cares...
Today at the range, I was shooting my Nagant over open sights at 50m for fun. The front rest was too low resulting in an arkward position of my right arm. I thought nothing of it at the time but when I fired, my shoulder was in such an arkward position that it really, fucking, hurt.
Lesson learnt.
SO, is the FN scar really that good? Alot of people seem to like it.

Without a pad no matter how you shoulder a nagant it feels like getting punched. The metal butt plate doesn't help one bit!
