breechloading 40mm gun would be pretty cool though

Looks like a regular G36 with a K length barrel to me.

That thing's kind of impossible to make without more custom machining. With a K length barrel, the flashhider is partially inside the handguard, and the E length barrel is far too long. The K length barrel also has a totally different flashhider.
I'd also point out that the ejection port is on the wrong side for making the Stalker one but that'd just be petty.
I could make it in LPEG form if I were to make it at all. Or maybe a JG, since JG plastic is cheaper than SRC plastic and so it'd be easier to cut. Meh.

Really? Unless its different ingame, the ejection port is correctly located on this model.

Dude,
Buy JG G36E
Cut off barrel at the rear of the bayonet mount
Glue Flashhider
New Inner Barrel
Done.
getting the dual sights that's the hard part :(

same concept just using co2 and a different valve

Thanks captain obvious. What we want to know is the valve set up.

All I've got is that it's a QEV being actuated by a sleeve valve somehow.
go fuck yourself cunt

Ingame, the ejection ports on all the weapons are on the wrong side, simply because it looks cooler.
p sure his mortar is just a pneumatic air cannon
i could be wrong but heres a tutorial
http://www.spudgundepot.com/pneumatic.html
obviously you'll have to be creative if you want it to look like a mortar
That looks like it'd be easier to make a Pack Howitzer with.

Not a particularly good looking one mind you, but a Pack Howitzer nonetheless.
Do your fields allow these? I heard about a mortar that we had at our field before, but I never got to see it.
Thats all it is
Its a QEV valve fired by/fed air through a sleeve valve. The rest is just knowing a bit of plumbing and having a spare camera tripod to cut up.
It really doesnt require a tutorial, it takes maybe 2 hours worth of research TOPS to figure out how it works/how to build one. The tough part is making it safe and integrating it into your airsoft games ruleset.
What's the barrel to chamber ratio?
Honestly the only reason I havent done a tutorial is because Im waiting to build one so I can take some good pictures, since I'm shit at explaining things through words.
Rest assured that once I finish/abandon my current tank project the next thing in line is a new towed AT gun so a tutorial will be made.
What's the barrel to chamber ratio?
On this scale its practically irrelevant because you aren't building it for performance so much as you are for safety/controllability.
I couldn't tell you the exact number ratio off the top of my head but the chamber is about 21 inches of 3/4 inch ID black iron and the barrel is about 30 inches of 2 inch ID PVC pipe.
So are you just running it off of a 20oz CO2 and a remote line?
So are you just running it off of a 20oz CO2 and a remote line?
I run mine off a kobalt regulator or theoretically I could use my flamethrower backpack as a source.
Remote lines run at far too high pressures and are far too hard to keep at one pressure for my liking, I usually don't put even close to 150 PSI (Basically the lowest pressure for remote lines from what I gather) in my cannons.
[editline]31st December 2011[/editline]
To clarify, the kobalt reg uses paintball CO2 bottles and the backpack uses a 5lb CO2 cylinder for a beer keg

gonna hook this up to a valve and a long toob with a nerf vortex in it and using it as an RPG. it should work, some kid i know did the exact same thing with good results. any tips?
Now this idea might not be great, but hey... Would it work if you had rigged a pvc pipe to have a fixed firing pin on the bottom allowing you to drop an m203 shell in and when it hits the firing pin it would shoot?
Well, I am most likely going to start this project. I am getting a 4 feet long piece of PVC pipe with an inner diameter that lets the 40mm shell slide down easily, but not wide enough for the "primer" to miss the firing pin, which will probably be a screw drilled into a cap to put on the end(this will be removable for fast shell reloading). I will make a bipod that adjusts and clamps onto the outside of the mortar. Spray paint to my desire and I should have a cheap, but working airsoft mortar.
Any suggestions would be great.

Ive done it before.
It works reasonably well if you can kinda figure out how far the shower goes. The issue is that the collective cloud of BBs is moving at such a low velocity, the slightest breeze sends it off course.
I actually devised a system that allowed it to fire nerfs by using 2in PVC as the barrel and 1.5in as the "Shell". I taped a few 40mm grenades into the 1.5in PVC and just shoved a nerf into the front, then dropped the whole thing into the pipe. Actually worked pretty well.
A bit of advice BTW, coat the firing pin in rubberizer (http://paint-and-supplies.hardwarestore.com/49-265-rubberized-plastic-coating/plasti-dip-293878.aspx) or else you beat the FUCK out of your 40mm shells.
Here, I have galaxy mp5k, and I just got myself m4 rifle, so decided to make a mp5k holster.
Took old pistol holster, ripped it's side apart, re-adjusted straps and done. It's MOLLE so literally can be attached to anything, vest, leg panel, bags etc..

and video:

I will improve it by adding more straps later on and bit stronger clips as it doesn't fall out but still just to be sure. Lanyard is there so that I know if I have left gun anywhere or not, also obviously if it falls out it will slow down fall so I can catch it in time without hitting ground.
Anyone in here know if it is possible to cut a toghtbore barrel?
and how to do it?
Hacksaw and file out the end?
If you got access to machine shop with a lathe it takes just a few minutes.
Cut barrel down roughly to size with bandsaw, insert into lathe, cut the face of the barrel flat, then use a chamfer tool down the barrel to give it the crown and to deburr any remaining material.
If not, only thing I could think of is some sort of pipe cutting tool and clean it up with a chamfer tool.
