[del]How are those triggered?[/del]
And sorry to overload you with questions about this stuff but do you use 1/4 or 1/8 NPT hose for all your stuff?
ahh, never mind, figured out how QEVs work but where did you get that exactly?
So much less cheesy looking than using a ball valve
I got mine from Fastenal, but Im not sure if the exact model I use is still sold by them. Thats a pretty bog-standard QEV though, Im sure you could find one on the googles
Hi so I just got a king arms ultra grade M4 and I was wondering if any body here knew how to take it apart because there doesn't seem to be any videos on youtube about it and the pins seen like their glued in any help would be much appreciated

So Ive started 3D printing my first airsoft item
Gonna be a double barreled Goblin launcher. Should end up costing me around 15-20 dollars assuming a few bad prints.
What material are you going to print them in? A lot of the 3D printing mediums that I've used have been too weak for that kind of use.
alternatively, if the 3d print is not strong enough, you can take molds off it and cast the part in resin or something.

So I used an old pistol holster to make something that my tomahawk could sit in.

So here's a prototype for a mortar. Its actually quite powerful with CO2 @ 600-700PSI. Launched a pretty heavy cardboard tube thing I found at decent speed. I aimed it at the trees otherwise the neighbors would be pissed, but I'm going to try it at an open field later with tennis balls or nerf rockets. I'm sure it could easily reach a couple hundred feet!
Also going to make it so it fires a 12gauge, 9mm or 10mm blank for those events when refs would call the mortar in a specific location. just for fun. So when you drop it down the tube you gotta cover your ears!
FYI the piece that is dropped down stays there. Whatever is inside of it is what shoots out. So no need to recover an expensive shell.
Design is simple. Just a screw at the bottom through a cap on the pvc pipe. Unfortunately the shell is so powerful it actually broke it:

Luckily its just a prototype so the real build will have a metal cap, pvc body (for lightnessness) and will be OD and have all the cool markings and be a little thicker too.
Yeah its kinda pointless sometimes, but its fun and the one in the video cost less than $10 to make and 5 minutes to put together. Just bored on a Sunday afternoon, but it could come in handy.
I'd like to make one thats strong enough to launch Enola Gaye smokes (which conveniently fit down a 40mm grenade launcher, but are too heavy) far away. Most fields wont let me use it since it might hurt falling down from the sky on your head, but theres always those redneck OPs who don't care.
I had one of those with a similar shell design to yours, but the issue is that you have to give up your zero to unload the spent shell, so it makes dialing your shots in very hard
in the end I just went with a constant supply of CO2 and just did away with the shells, but I have seen some designs with a trapdoor at the bottom so you dont have to ruin your aim to reload
