I still think our brightest moment was getting Facepunch to be the first hit when googling the term "Fucking Incredible". And yeah, jesus, 9 years. Time flies.

threads like these depress me because it makes me realise how uninvolved I've been with the forums. prolly should of bought gold while I could :v: if there's anything I'd like to change other than my sort of offensive join date, it's the dumb posts I made here back in '11 and '12. both shitposts and genuinely dumb posts. I guess being largely unknown on forums is just a thing I do or something. I remember being on one forum (a very small one) and despite my mass amount of posts with my unique humour, some other fucker managed to join and completely take the spotlight haha. I have a lot of memories of this forum and I probably wouldn't have been the same without it. keep punching the faces, guys

I lurked for like 4 years until I made an acc when I was 15 8). Pretty gr8 place but it hasnt inspired me in any way (Most of the people here are nice too, except a few douchebags, trolls and creeps) but its been alright

To think I've spent almost a decade on this forum. I don't have that much dedication for anything. Although, I've mostly spent my time here procrastinating.

Even though I've only been here for a year, I love it. I've also learned not to be a dickhead on the internet. If it wasn't for facepunch I'd probably be that guy with the illuminati avatar spamming lenny faces that we all hate.

I've been here for a while and although I have no reason to come back to this site, there is no better option. I'd like if more if people had a friendlier approach to criticism. Known about FP since 2006 with MooCow's contraptions, lurked since 2007 with the release of gmod 10, and joined on a New Year of [insert join date here]. Since 2007, I've visit religiously and spent too much time here in general. For all the time I spent here, FP never done me shit. These last 8-ish years could've been spent doing something better. After that revelation, I'll still probably post here.

hehe im the same, I joined here back in 2010 when I was like, 13? 12? I cant remember, all i wanted to get into was gmod and the whole screenshots/posing thing, after a few years of grasping photoshop I can say that im alright with it now, as appose to the first screenshots that I posted (god help me) But yeah, Im 16 now and I have browsed fp ever I joined, place has changed a fuckton since I have been here. Being here has actually inspired me to go do things. Photography for instance; which I picked up back in june came after a year or so of casually peaking into the photography section, having a look at everyone elses work and why they enjoy photography so much. It inspired me to actually pick up a camera and go shoot, and even now in the creative photography thread I (and lots of others do, to) find inspiration from a range of different people from all over the world. been on this forum for the past 5 years (registered when I was 13) and it's still my favorite forum on the internet. i reckon most of my posts back then were total shit and i'd die of embarassment if i looked back on them, but i'm really glad i found and became a part of this community. cool people (mostly), cool posts (mostly) and an all around great community (mostly).

Yeah, I agree. Been on facepunch since '07 and it has changed my life. Despite the forum having its occasional downs, I'm glad I'm apart of this community.

I remember when ratings were recorded on your profile. Some asshole rated me bad reading even though I read the thread good and [b]they[/b] were in fact bad reading! Never forget. A permanent mark on my reputation. Seriously though I can barely even remember the early days now. It was so long ago.
