Surviving the smartness system and having been here as long as I have, a lot of other forums almost make me vomit on sight.
Most people here make an attempt to use proper grammar and spelling, a few don't due to using phones which is no big deal. There's no signatures. No image macros. No wacky and crazy fonts. It's nice.

Been here since the start of this shit, used a friends account cause i could not start my own till 06 for some reason. Since then I left school, left college and left uni. Fucking hell its been a long time. I use to spend so much time reading the ban list with my mate and laugthing at the reasons and the idiot culls.
I remember Facepunch back from when I was looking for HL2 mods on like .. hl2-mods.co.uk or whatever, found Garry's Mod and fetched the 8.04b (i believe?) version, it was the shit. Loved it ever since. I don't play that much GMod anymore, but that's been mostly due to a change of interrest (i fucking love programming shit) and due to the fact that I am now unemployed, looking for a job, and taking some classes. So most of my time has just gone by.

Came for the Garry's Mod Forums, stayed for the biting sense of sarcasm and high standard that all posts are held to. Besides, LMAO Pics and the other megathreads do more to keep me up to date than most dedicated websites do for the same purpose.
I'm probably not alone when I say that most of my news comes to me from Sensationalist Headlines, just out of ease of access. The snarky titles are just a bonus.
I came here for gmod, stayed for fast threads, moved to vidya section, then hardware and software for a few months, then back to vidya, now I just piss about in WTF
