My combat machine is still going after 3.5 years. Granted, I don't use it much anymore but I can still rely on it if I need to.

Had my CM16 for a year now as a backup, has worked perfectly when i've needed it or lended it and I haven't really heard any justified complaints from anyone I know who uses them bar the odd lemon rifle here and there, they're great budget guns.

I got a CM16 about 3 years ago but it was one in a defective batch and got an electrical problem the first day I had it and didn't work again. seriously I never thought I'd see the day in which somebody actually talked shit about a Combat Machine and told someone that they should have gotten a JG.

The only thing that i could see a worthwhile upgrade for is a metal A2 upper, cause the change from the JG plastic grey to the black of the lower is really obvious. But it's not necessary.

find me a metal A2 upper and I'll get right on it

My brother has a pretty much brand new G&P A2 upper lying around and a G&P slabside M16 lower that fits with it. I'm so tempted to stick it on my M727 to replace the CA body it's got at the moment, but as much as i love the slabside lower it'd be wrong for a 727 :v:
