I took it off to make it a little bit more "conceal under a jacket for that slim low profile" look. It's also amazing how much lighter and thinner removing the stock makes it.
Also the same reason why I have a real-steel (converted) AMD-65 20-round magazine in it. It's meant to be a coat-gun, or that's the look I wanted anyway.

Ironically all those guns besides the TM M9 and KA FAL are guns I initially wanted at one point or another in my airsoft career
I wanted a TM EBR in my NATO days but settled with a G&G SOC16 due to budgetary constraints
Looked into getting a RS SVD but finding the correct "rig" for the SVD was too much for me.
I also looked at Type-56-1s for an AKMS conversion but was too lazy.
Considered the TM MEU as my second pistol but got the PX4
Looked into KSC USPs recently but settled with a TM Glock 18C instead
Interesting to see the guns I initially wanted bunched into one pile. Now that I have my dream gun though, no other gun appeals to me as much anymore v:v:v

The P6 (West German police issue Sig P225) in my first post up there with the stockless T56-2 is my real-steel carry gun. I really wish there was an airsoft version of it. I wish there were more non-railed Sig variants, for that matter. So far our only options for a compact Sig P22x are the Prime conversion kit (extremely expensive in addition to the Marui 226 base gun), or the WE P228/9 (which... are WE. Enough said. Blech)
Why are there no P220's besides the Tanaka JSDF version?
WE P22X's are some of their best guns.
That... really isn't saying much when you look at their other guns, lol
That being said, I still wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of their non-railed P228's to dick around with, maybe do a review or something.

LOL I wish man. If I had the money I'd buy an old M70 parts kit and get dat bitch airsoft-converted in a heartbeat. Or if I was crafty like FIDO on the Red-Alliance I would just do it myself; alas, I am not creative, nor do I know my way around a machine shop. You should see my structures on Minecraft. Just, sad. Very sad.
I did, however, have an old Zastava M92 carbine that I did not make myself. The receiver/stock is an old Inokatsu AKMS number, the wood came from Ironwood Designs, the sight, receiver cover, etc. were from an Inokatsu AKS-74U, and IIRC the outer barrel itself had to be custom-machined. Here's a picture of it with my old Prime LR-300. I STILL kick myself for selling these guns. #firstworldproblems

I've been lurking on and off for a while now, only this morning made an account to actually post shit. I'll probably hang out a while.
I should also have some new pics here in the next week or so. I'm expecting a full-steel DBoys AK-105 in the mail with a bunch of mags including a real-steel(real-bakelite?) RPK74 mag converted to an airsoft mid, and I should also have a G&P Masterkey on the way soon too... even though I have no M4 platforms to mount it on. Maybe I can ghetto-rig it to one of my AK's just for the lulz.

Hey, we're Zastava buddies now! I know it's a little off-topic, but how has the gun been treating you? I went to fire mine two weeks ago and the cheek slap was just horrendous. I got a new stock, from an M76, but haven't tried it yet. I'm also considering replacing the recoil spring since I hear the Zastava ones are weak so it slaps a bit more at the end of the stroke when the bolt hits the back of the frame.

The receiver dimple on both AKs, selector markings on the LCT, AK74 features on the LCT, handguards on the VFC, and overall finish on the VFC
Except Yugo Ak's are all incredibly ugly

Mine isn't gentle on the shoulder/cheek either, but I like it. It'll literally eat through anything I stick in it. Junky old surplus, Wolf, doesn't matter. I got some of those Polish Radon mags or whatever they're called, the black polymer ones, that I need to modify to fit as they're a little snug, but otherwise they're fine. I really can't say anything bad about my Zastava. It functions extremely well and it's accurate. inb4aks?accurate???blasphemy!!!!111oneone
