i played a couple of skirmishes with it before i sold him off to my friend along with it's highcap mag.
Silly me for thinking an underbarrel accessory designed for M16s would fit without modification on an M16. Well, I've certainly had worse than two hours of Dremeling before, and I didn't have to mangle the 203 in the process, so I can live with it.

This, in conjunction with the stubby M500 and Mk43, will allow me to finally live the dream of being machine gunner, grenadier, and shotgunner simultaneously, while still keeping an AEG for backup and a cornucopia of explosives.

My M203 doesnt fit on my M16 either; The M16's barrel is too thick. This was actually a real steel flaw, and required M16A2's and on to have to fit a special barrel to mount a 203.

Yep, that was the issue. The rear mount worked fine but the front one wouldn't fit, so I had to grind the lips on the top mounting bar so it could go over the barrel. Then I found that the front mount was too high, so the barrel of the 203 was sticking down at an angle, so I had to grind that up too. But it works, and it's invisible under the heatshield anyways, so fine with me.

I actually haven't touched it much, surprisingly. I swapped the grip for the milspec one and rewired it to Deans but I haven't had much trigger time as a rifleman so it really hasn't been used. I'm hoping to make it a regular part of my kit this spring.

Your rear mount worked? Huh. On mine it's the rear mount that won't fit.

I took the star-shaped whatever it is off the gun, stuck it on the 203, gave it a few whacks with a hammer until it fit, then stuck that whole assembly back on the gun. Job's a good'un.
However, every time I yank the 203 barrel with force when unlatching it, the entire barrel comes off. I see the latch assembly that arrests the barrel's movement is spring-loaded, so clearly this is supposed to be possible, but I feel like I'm going to rip the barrel off the gun in-game. Is this how it's supposed to function?

My M16 is so shitty it doesnt have a barrel nut. So. Yeah.

Ha, I remember that SVD. Almost bought it when he un-P*'d it, ended up having to spend the money on something else.
Also I like the two-tone (wood stock with polymer furniture), no idea why. It looks wonky but somehow charming.
