[t]http://i.imgur.com/5w7q3lb.jpg?1[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/p0LVWiO.jpg?3[/t] Currently has only a buffer tube, but I'm planning to pick up an MOE stock when I can. [editline]21st January 2014[/editline] also the peq2 is for appearance, its buffer tube wired
Fuck. I want that gun badly
I know many who have both AR's and AK's have tried this but I really like the way the AR look with such a small muzzle device. That and the AK looks like it's straight out of Battlefield 3.
where can I get an ambi CM lower like that? I wants one
where can I get an ambi CM lower like that? I wants one
I don't know. It came with my gun. Its a gbb cm16 raider.
Can't just buy an ambi mag release and slap it on there?
Can't just buy an ambi mag release and slap it on there?
His receiver has a special cut-out for it though
It's a knockoff of the Knights E3 SR E3 receiver, which not only has that mag release on the left, but it also has a bolt catch release on the right.

Fair points I guess but can't the same effect be achieved by simply adding the parts you want? (Other than that cut-out in the receiver for the mag catch I mean)
Oh. Fair points I guess but can't the same effect be achieved by simply adding the parts you want? (Other than that cut-out in the receiver for the mag catch I mean)
Yes but the point is both functionality and the aesthetics...this is airsoft after all.
It's a knockoff of the Knights E3 SR E3 receiver, which not only has that mag release on the left, but it also has a bolt catch release on the right.
I actually do not have a bolt release on the right side. Only the left side.
Interesting, but it's not unreasonable. The bolt catch on the right side is very fragile on most replicas of the gun so it makes sense they wouldn't include it.
Snip
good lord please thumb those
I'm on my phone so it might be huge, just right click and open in a new tab
[editline]23rd January 2014[/editline] I'll change it once I get to my computer [editline]23rd January 2014[/editline] Ok here we go. DO WANT
very nice
[t]http://i.imgur.com/bw0JTha.jpg[/t] who needs mag compatibility when you can have mag variety? also, all guns are done upgrade wise for the first time ever. I dont want to do anything else to them unless something breaks (which it shouldnt). im so happy to have all my guns done. I also dont want any more guns, i think im pretty set. I like that each gun serves a purpose and is best in a certain game type / environment. It just seems silly to me to have multiple guns that do the exact same thing.
When did you get rid of your pp-19? Sorry I don't pay attention to anything
Meanwhile I have 15 guns and want a shit ton more #airsofthoarders

It looks like you/whoever painted it did an imitation wood furniture on it, and it looks interesting. Oh it's wrapped. ok. that makes sense.

For some reason I saw the link and thought it said redwolf and was confused for a second
fish do you still have pictures of all your painted guns mp5, fnc and g36 i'm going to paint my VFC M4 this weekend probably, and i really really like how you did yours
I can take some, but felix probably has better pictures. This is all with rustoleum camo spray paint Start with a base color of black, then do a completely tan layer. From there, do very quick and light stripes of OD, brown, tan, etc... Until you get the pattern and coloration you want. If you want to weather it, get a scouring pad or a very worn out sanding block or a rag with some rubbing alcohol on it and get the control areas of the gun and raised surfaces/ones that rub against your body. I like the rag with alcohol on it because it doesn't just scratch the paint off, it wears through the layers and spreads the color around a little.
The FNC and MP5 are(were) mine actually [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_56765.jpg[/t] [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_56783.jpg[/t] [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_56802.jpg[/t] [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_56813.jpg[/t] [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_6835.JPG[/t] [t]http://filesmelt.com/dl/IMG_6836.JPG[/t]
doesn't have to be super quality pics, i'd just like some reference pictures :) never thought of using the alcohol rag, can i use 151 or does it have to be rubbing alcohol :v: [editline]23rd January 2014[/editline] oh sorry lol, you and fish are so bro you kind of become the same person sometimes <3 that's awesome though, thanks boys
any kind of alcohol/mineral spirits/paint thinner kind of thing will work.
i'll go run out and grab some black paint and some rubbing alcohol sometime tomorrow then pretty stoked to try this out
