Meh. It's just an AKM with an AIMS stock and bakelite handguards.
I like my little short-barreled bastard gun better. :C
Dude that looks incredible
Really digging the 20 round mag, too
Yeah, I've got 2 of them and love them both. Would really like to find a few Bakelite AKM mags converted to airsoft though, but either nobody has them or the few who do aren't letting go of them any time soon. Those 20-round AMD-65 mags drop right into the VFC AIMS and RealSword Type 56-2 without issue, too.
I should also get a spare cleaning rod and cut it down to length... I dunno why but AK's without cleaning rods under the barrels have always bugged me for some reason.
Are the 20 rounders converted real steel?
Yessir.
(also added descriptions for that pic to clarify)
What would the difference be, between the VFC AIMS and the CYMA one?

Way more durable externals, a more realistic finish, probably better internals, etc. Just overall a much better product

Not just that actually; if you went the extra mile, a proper mpi-kms should also have a NVA pistol grip, and maybe some NVA ~nyte sytes~ and maybe a bayo if you feel cool
I would into East German AKMs but too much DIY-ing for me
What would the difference be, between the VFC AIMS and the CYMA one?
As someone who's owned both CYMA and VFC AK's, the short answer is: Everything. Everything the CYMA does, the VFC does better. CYMA's externals are shit (even on their "full-steel" models, because remember: "full-steel" doesn't necessarily translate to "good steel"), their quality control leaves a LOT to be desired, and they just feel really, really cheap. Performance-wise a lot of people bitch about VFC's gears but tbh I've never had any issues with any of my VFC's, and I've owned many of them. Though in all fairness they've all been AK's, so I can't speak for the gears of other VFC models, e.g. SCAR or E-Series M4s.
7.62x51 makes everything look way better from SCAR's to AR's to Mk48's
forgot to post this here, better late than never

On the subject of 1911's... Most of these pictures are fuckmassive so I made them thumbnails, click on them to see the full-size.
Two of my old ones; black TM+HurricanE Kimber LAPD SWAT Custom II with a VFC V1911 torch (replica of that SureFire 301 or whatever it's called) and real Kimber grips, and a stainless TM+Guarder Springfield Armory 1911A1. I actually really miss that stainless A1.

And another TM+Guarder, this time a TRP with real Linville Knife & Tool Co. grips

(with an old KSC G19 with aftermarket trademarked slide and threaded barrel - G&G maybe? It's old, whatever it is)
There's also these two, both Western Arms; stock SIGARMS GSR heavyweight two-tone model with wood grips, and a Colt Combat Commander with steel Guarder hammer, Shooters Design stainless slide, and real Colt wood grips.

I'm digging that topmost TM with the VFC torch, looks really baller
Yeah, it was a sweet setup but there's a fitment issue with the VFC torch. If you don't tighten the hex screw far enough onto the trigger guard the light wobbles and rattles, but if you tighten it too much it puts pressure on the slide lock and prevents the slide lock from functioning properly. Other than that, though, it was an excellent light.
I love all 1911's but your tactical take on them is just perfect without comprising the original class of it.
Jimmy, give me the Barrett
