Having real AKMS wood, real bakelite upper, a real PKM short-type muzzle brake, and a real-steel AMD-65 20 rounder converted to airsoft probably helps.

They use a flipup sight that mounts to the barrel iirc; if I'm mistaken I'm probably thinking of the yugo ak things :downs:

BTC Spectre V2 Mosfet (This one is insane can do almost everything you want)
Need to buy a torque motor to drive the gray cylinder and a new Selector plate because the one that comes with the katana is a different size so the mosfet only works in full auto(which becomes semi) atm
Really like the gun, it's really versatile with the different cylinders you can fit really quickly.

I think you guys are a bit confused. The Yugo AKs have a flip-up sight for rifle grenades, but for both the Yugos and Tantals a [URL="http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/5341/gn0993f.jpg"]special ribbed flash hider[/URL] is needed to mount the grenade. That Tantal flash hider just does the same thing as an AK-74 flash hider, it diverts gas backwards to reduce recoil.

I'm not sure whether I like the AKMS lower or the Romanian donkey-dick lower better.. They're both pretty sexy so it's kinda hard to choose a favorite.

The romanian one fits in better IMO, the gun looks kind of dinky w/ the normal one
I think a vented upper handguard and a RPK lower would look pretty sweet

I like it without personally. Makes it more compact, easier to store with the mag out. Is the short barrel a custom job or from a commercially available gun?
Custom job far as I know.
And I really do want to get one of those vented uppers for it, those things look so badass with a little bit of weathering.
I like the donkey-dick overall but the straight AKMS lower does make for a lower-profile/compact gun.
I'd say swap them situationally. Use whichever is best for the game at hand.
