I thought it was people loading the wrong caliber into their glocks.
It's an issue specific to Gen 1 .40 cal Glocks. The Gen 1s had a partially unsupported chamber, which normally would not be a problem, but .40 cal's pressure doubles for every 1/10" of bullet setback.
"Nobody NEEDS 30-drum assault clips"
Well you can't really have a NEED for IMAGINARY objects.
[t]http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f168/mwrdyna/M16mattelM16.jpg[/t] ????
There was a tumblr or somesuch for a while that was named Mattel Rifle too hur

well, they DID make a better job than some companies that are trying to sell a "VN M16" if only they weren't restricted by the size of the sound system
Not really. The magazine is the only real difference. It's got a lot of details that they didn't really need to replicate, like the charging handle, bayonet lug, and the partial fencing on the magwell.
Stock isn't even close. I'll admit, it was a better reproduction than most toy M16s, but I'm not sure I'd call it "quite good".
I know you guys are probably sick of it by now but I did a little more aesthetic work on my SR25. I'm wondering where I should go next with the spray can, or if I should just leave it as is. What do you guys think? [editline]15th March 2014[/editline] All the tan areas have an artificial wear on them, close ups by request
just needs KAC BUIS I think
I think it looks good.
That carry handle is great, I'm still annoyed that my friend who broke his barrett wouldn't sell me the handle it had that was exactly like that when he got rid of it. Personally I think it'd be nice to have some ironsights on it, but if you don't plan on ever using them then it looks good without.

In the John Wayne pro-vietnam war flick "Green Berets", John Wayne smashes a Marauder against a tree in place of a real M16.
Something that REALLY bugs me is that the front sight that came with my SR25 is waaaay to high. Like when I adjust my rear sight ALL THE WAY up, it just barely lines up with it. So I'd need to buy a full set for it to be of any use
Why can't you just buy a standard-height front sight to go with the rear one you already have?
or just put them on for looks since you have an optic and wont realistically need BUIS
In the John Wayne pro-vietnam war flick "Green Berets", John Wayne smashes a Marauder against a tree in place of a real M16.
and apparently you can see the "speaker" falling out
and apparently you can see the "speaker" falling out
That and you can't physically smash an M16 to pieces like that.
That and you can't physically smash an M16 to pieces like that.
Challenge accepted.
film it and post results
[t]http://i.imgur.com/RtN526u.jpg[/t] I decided to stop lurking here today too :v One of four rifles I have, and only one that hasn't had either the magazine break or trigger snap off. I'm toying around with the idea of making a loadout to go to a field or something.

:( that optic [editline]18th March 2014[/editline] sick gun other than that though
not going to spend more than i spent on my gun for an optic besides its surprisingly clear and accurate (and its all i have)
EOtech replicas and Aimpoint replicas can be had for $50 or less
I don't see what's wrong with the optic. It's a little unusual but it probably works fine as far as optics in airsoft go. And my eotech was like $40 and is functional and solid as a rock, optics don't have to be mega expensive.
who makes a good eotech replica
