Holy crap what kinda grips are those?
They're meant for a real gun so unfortunately they lack the hollow-out space to put the grip weights, but they're from a company called Linville Knife & Tool. Here's their website, the style is called Vector.

Aside from that SPR, you have a fantastic collection of not tacticooled/generic ARs
and even the SPR isn't some awful magpul'd operathurr vector-vltor-slaying-bodies-in-the-primary pile of poo poo
10/10 you know how ARs should be done
Because ARs should only be one way and tactical accessories have no purpose
honestly i don't mind tacticool ARs, I wouldn't mind having a Block II in my collection haha
It's just that none of my ARs have nice RIS frontends and everything i have just happens to have a fixed carryhandle (with the exception of the T91, but I kind off floperator'd that rifle with the UBR and MIAD with the M145)
Because ARs should only be one way and tactical accessories have no purpose
you can do ARs however the fuck you want it's your gun not mine
thats not gonna stop me from calling tactioperator mk18 mod 1337 #130,000 generic as hell and boring

I personally prefer hand-cut, unstained, and beaten to hell wood furniture.

your t91 makes me boner
too bad its near impossible to find t91s anymore :(
would have been great for TAIWAN PRIDE

did airsplat finally sell off their entire stock?
wait, really?

airsplat says it be in stock
but it dont be like it do :(
[editline]29th March 2014[/editline]
guess the WE t91s are the only choice now and even then those aren't common
http://www.evike.com/products/38247/
still in stock on Evike, I should nab one of these as soon as I've got the dosh.
[editline]29th March 2014[/editline]
I've held the WE before, it's 1:1 scale with the real thing and accepts real T91 furniture. makes the SRC feel almost toylike.
The WE T91 that i held in my local airsoft shop was pretty solid and nice but some fucker had somehow jammed it so the bolt was halfway back and the charging handle was stuck.
I'd imagine that's just because it's a display model and the codkiddies had fingerfucked the shit out of it thinking it was a HK416 or something.
i like to think that my review is what allowed airsplat to get rid of all their stock. pretty sure the T91 was just one of those guns everyone scrolled past when they were shopping for a new rifle.
Speaking of which is the body aluminum or pot metal?
The body's aluminium. The finish isn't the best, but it's better those Dboys ARs by far.

Leaving aside that what he's talking about is pretty much entirely personal preference, how many people seriously need a flashlight, laser, angled foregrip, and other fashionably tactical accessories du jour to be effective?
"yo dawg stfu my 4 flashlights, 3 scopes (2 w/magnifiers), 3 lasers to make it look like Predator and shit, regular foregrip AND angled foregrip in case i get bored with one in the middle of a fight, oh and a magwell grip cant forget that, etc. work for my needs dont hate on whats practical bruh"

Eh, the reason it bothers me is because most of the time is people spout the whole "GENERIC TACTICOOL OPERATOR M4" is when it isn't even tacticool. People see a DD Rail, a vert grip, and an eotech and just start on about tacticool.
Generally I find things labeled "tacticool" as a synonym for "would actually work well in a real combat scenario".

You see, we have a misunderstanding here. I wouldn't look at that and say 'tacticool' - I would say 'borderline retarded'.
This is what I mean when I think or say "tacticool" so I can see how you would be confused.

what are you talking about this is a super effective gat
Okay, first of all, better safe than automerge. Second, see above. Puush is being a bit shit for me right now though.

Okay can you fucking stop and thumb those jesus christ
holy shit what the fuck is wrong with my automerge

Yeah sure, my bad.
As the owner of a MK18 with all the shit on it, I guess I have to be on the "tacticool is good" side of this argument. Every accessory on an MK18 has a perfectly legitimate purpose and use. A fore grip and EOTech are kind of necessary and the PEQ is the only way of aiming with NOD's on. A pressure switch is necessary to use the PEQ comfortably and a visible flashlight has an obvious use as well.
why do you need a foregrip
why do you need an eotech
I feel like when people use shit like this all the time they rely on it as a crutch.
[editline]31st March 2014[/editline]
Like I get that it's your rifle and you can do whatever you want with it, that's your business, but I also have a right to call that stuff silly if I want to

As far as I'm concerned the only legitimate accessories for an airsoft rifle are a grip and a flashlight since they both let you do things you wouldn't be able to do otherwise. I have a hard time believing that people need NOD's, PEQ's, and optics when I can beat regularly outshoot any of these people with none of that shit.
I mean yeah airsoft is all about bringing whatever you want on your gun and stuff, but I consider it ridiculous for people to try and justify this shit to me as anything other than for appearances.
Although, I have an eotech on my MP9, but that's purely because I literally cannot see through the sights on that gun.
