On a serious note though, I kinda figured it was a categorization mishap when I bought it. Like I said before, I didn't exactly intend to bring it out on a field. Unless it's a firing range. Would have if I could've modified it, but given the lack of 4.5mm plastic BBs, I guess it'll remain a target-practice gun, or just decoration.

You're not hurting anything by posting here, and there is an airsoft counterpart to your gun so it's likely the same exact system.

Link? Only other ones I've seen are the Dan Wessons, with 6mm BBs, but that thing still fires at like 450FPS.

I did find those when I was out buying CO2 today, actually!
Question is if the BB's would go through the barrel. I think my current ones are 8mm.

Nononono. They obviously must have different inner barrels. 4.5mm is tiny, standard 6mm will never fit, NOT EVEN TALKING ABOUT 8MM. You'd need a whole new gun for airsoft use.
There are several ways of making it shoot weaker. There are versions with reduced FPS stock on the market, but they might be hard to come by. There are FPS reducing shells, and obviously a number of DIY solutions, such as cutting the hammer spring.
So a while ago on reddit, a user by the name of /u/BooliganAirsoft posted a build that he did, it was a Honey Badger inspired M4. It looked cool, so I decided I wanted to do one similar. I took these pics with my phone because I can afford to play airsoft or I can afford a camera. they're kinda mutually exclusive.

If my girlfriend tried to airsoft with me, she would undoubtedly get damaged beyond repair. She's in the lower 5' range and is well under 100 pounds.
My girlfriend is interested in military stuff and wants to airsoft with me, but I'm a bit apprehensive.
I really think she might enjoy outdoor OPs with all the roleplaying and stuff, but I'm not too sure how she'll feel about the fast pace of HGA.
Also, she's pretty set on wanting Vietnam era BDUs and M1956 gear like mine. :(
(Although, I admit, it would be pretty badass to be a couple and the [I]only[/I] people in area that run Vietnam gear)

I doubt I could get the girl I'm into to play airsoft, even if I did play. She's pretty much built like a stick and isn't a big fan of physical activity. She'd probably think historical reenactment type airsoft is pretty cool though.
