The MG-42, M60, M82, RPG-7, M16A2 and the XM177 are the coolest of the bunch. MGLs are kind of common these days, i never find them all that impressive.

Personally, what stands out to me is the stuff i think is neat. M16A2s aren't at all rare and neither are G&P XM177s but they're still classy and stand out to me in the sea of rails and tan :v:

Except there isn't an M16A2.... there's an A1 and an A4

My mistake, the handguard looked round to me but looking again it is an A1. Even better.

I feel like M16A2's are less common than A1's tbh. It seems like more people do Vietnam than mid 80's to early 00's (if Marines). Everyone either does SICK NASTY MODURN OP8r or rarely Vietnam, but never like 80's infantry, Gothic Serpent, or Invasion of Iraq Marines or anything along those lines.

In order, I wanna do 80's, Desert Storm, and Vietnam next

All I need is an M16A2 and a set of choco-chip and I could do early 2000's marines, desert storm, and 80's infantry( sans PASGT vest because fuck trying to find one that fits me)

If that was a Shoei MG42, then we could talk. Just because it's "unique" doesn't mean it's nice.

I'd be much more impressed with a V2 SR25 DaytonaGun than an ACM MG42, for example.

Basically VSR rifles and clones have hollow stocks, and the trigger mech and piston (where all the firing noise comes from) are seated directly over the hollow cavity in the stock. This causes the noise to kind of echo and reverberate in the stock and make the gun have a lot more noise than it needs to. It's also where that kind of cheap sounding [I]pop[/I] noise that all VSR's have comes from. So filling the stock with non-hardening clay will absorb all of that noise and make your gun a lot quieter and give it less of that generic pop noise all airsoft sniper rifles have. It'll also balance the weight of your rifle nicely.
