Calling a Taurus a Beretta is like calling a Fiat 500 a Ferarri
Taurus does not own the beretta manefacturing plant, they're a Brazillian manefacturer that produce Beretta copies under license much like how Swedish Bofors made G3's designated AK4 under license from H&K.
It is, but I figured since Taurus bought the Beretta manufacturing plant I might as well refer to it as a Beretta v:v:v
A company that thinks it is acceptable to produce THIS for their domestic police market:

Is not Beretta.

I got this a little while before echigoya's website went under maintenance, I'm glad I didn't wait any longer.

And I somehow managed to find a replacement safety lever for this little beauty after the original broke off. Now I'm just waiting on some replacement TM DE parts that will probably take a few months to get here.
[t][/t] jesus FUCK
Jesus Christ I did not realize the resolution was that bad, I think I fixed it.

G&P Stoner and LCT AKM are the only guns I ever regret selling, stop making it worse :(

Structurally they're very similar, and they come out of the same place.
Not a big deal in my opinion.
But if it really bothers you so much, I'll change that one single word.
Protip: they didn't come out of the same place.

Based on that I'm going to assume you've never been near a real Taurus or Beretta ever in your life. They are not the same, not even similar. Taurus is Brazilian, Beretta is Italian. Nothing from Taurus is made in Italy, nothing from Beretta is made in Brazil. Also literally everything made by Taurus is a massive piece of shit.

I've never touched a real gun as far as I can remember, so no. Nor do I really think being within the vicinity of weaponry automatically shines me with knowledge of branding.

Aside from a few differences on the slide (and where the safety is located), on the outside they're very similar.
Or maybe I'm just a dumb fucking uninformed piece of shit and I should shut the fuck up because I know absolutely fucking nothing about goddamn anything
think of it in terms of airsoft. You have a Tokyo Marui M4 and you have a china clone M4. They look the same, and technically function the same, but the TM has a lot higher build quality, quality control, and preforms better over the china clone. The Beretta is the TM and the Taurus is the china clone
[sp] atleast I think this is an apt analogy, I could be completely wrong[/sp]
The Taurus is more like the one someone made in their garage out of soap because they couldn't afford the china clone
Cardboard
Say what you will about Taurus.
But the Judge is a lot of fun to shoot. :P

Tehe, my first trademarked gun that didn't come with a paragraph on it.

yeah, it's russian roulette for your hands!
you never know when the fucker is gonna explosively detach the barrel or just right out explode after all
I shot a Beretta once and every few shots it would fail to eject so I don't want to know how bad the Taurus would be.
Probably just poor maintenance
I was playing with a 1911 at the range, sometimes the slide would get locked back with rounds still in the mag, the slide felt so rough when you racked it back
Also so many stove pipes, like once every mag
Sounds like a lot of this is coming down to poor firearm maintenance.
I've fired two 19 round magazines consecutively through a PT92 with no problems, I've never had any problems with the 1911's(Colt, Kimber, Rock Island Armory) I've shot, and I've never had any problems from either the Beretta M9A1 or Px4 I've fired.
I have however had quite a few problems with my Ruger 10/22, and I generally consider those excellent firearms. (albeit, I treat mine rather badly)

A friend of mine said he had the same issue with a desert eagle, stovepipe every shot

Taped off the rest of the gun, spray painted.
Going to use some nail polish remover to smooth it out.
A friend of mine said he had the same issue with a desert eagle, stovepipe every shot
Did he own it or just shoot it? Might well have been that he wasn't used to the recoil and was limp wristing it, thus causing the stovepipes.

He just shot it I didn't know all the details at the time he just told me it jammed every shot
Oh, okay. I was just guessing since stovepiping is often caused by the shooter's hand being unable to keep the gun stiff enough during the slide return, which seems very likely for someone firing something as powerful as a Desert Eagle for the first time (assuming it was his first time with a Desert Eagle as well).
First time I went to the range years ago my RO brought out a box and let me play with a bunch of different guns
The shitty 1911 was one of them, there was a Beretta something or other in .45, a couple different glocks and some weird kel-tec looking things, I don't even remember
At the end he let me use his .44 Magnum, and the recoil hit my hand so hard on the first shot that the beavertail cut the webbing between my thumb and index :(

When I was 8 and shooting my dad's .357 for the first time, he loaded the first 3 as .38 Special and the last 3 as .357 Magnum.
The shock that goes through a kids head when the gun they're shooting becomes stronger.
First time I shot my uncles .44 mag I almost shot myself in the head. After the first shot the gun kicked up and I guess I hit the trigger again and a second shot fired at about a 45 degree angle. It probably would have fired a third time straight into my face if my uncle hadn't forced it back down
First time I shot a .44 magnum I wasn't wearing ear protection. I have tinnitus now.
Probably from more than that, but it certainly didn't help.
