What's your gearbox compression and fps like?
How good is your trigger response, what MOSFET are you using?
What modifications have you made to the infinitely shitty AR styled hopup?
How have you sealed in your barrel/hopup?
What stabilization methods have you used to secure the inner barrel to the outer?
What BB weight (and brand) is your gun optimized for?
I put more work into all of my gun's hopups than you're putting into a supposed "DMR". Store-bought parts and a few minutes of work do not a DMR make.

Trust me when i say i know what i intend to use my rifle for. Semi-auto, distanced engagements where i have the advantage of superior accuracy and ranged fire. A friend of mine as a spotter with a carbine to watch my back. I have zero intention of trying to use my rifle on fully-automatic. That would be a waste of what i am trying to accomplish.

while ossum's gun may be able to make 50 extra feet with his new barrel, the chances of him consistently and accurately reaching out to that distance with no other performance tweaks are very low, hence why i wouldn't call it a true dmr

I'm having terrible flashbacks to when my high school friends thought "DMR" meant 500+ FPS spring. And getting shot in the face within 20 feet by said "DMR"

Its just the sort of thing where I've done more hopup work on my MP5K's and even my Glock 34 than Ossum has done on his "True DMR", so I guess that means my little guys are now qualified as "Handheld Sniper Rifles".
Not saying Ossum isn't going to go through with making his gun proper, but its just kind of ridiculous to think that a work in progress gun with an Rhop qualifies as a finished product that is defined by being significantly better than an average gun.
