Eh, I can think of a few practical reasons to have an SBR, like a truck gun or home defense, and if you can build one as a pistol and not have to deal with ATF restrictions on SBRs I don't see why not. It's their fault for having arbitrary, exploitable rules in the first place.
Arbitrary, exploitable rules that really do nothing to address the underlying problem, I might add. Not too many SBRs have been used in crimes, and the ones that have? Ho-hum... weren't legal in the first place. Someone who intends to do harm to others isn't going to dance to the ATF's tune to get what they want, they're just going to go out and do it. Murder's already illegal, why would a crook care if an unregistered SBR or full-auto is breaking more laws on top of that?

Well they did make the M14 and they did a good job... aside from some important bits being made of pot metal but whatever.
Even the M14 still sounded a little tinny because of the way the bold was, but I can see a G3 sounding much more... chunky
The M14 still had a nice CHUNKACHUNKACHUNKACHUNKA in F/A, with an ROF of like 11, and immense amounts of metal slapping around.

I like that you like, and that I can inspire you to get this old rifle back. The G3's are the only rifles that i own that has many RS parts fitted. All the stocks are bought used and comes from real G3's, it took some customizing but they fit. Rails and mounts can be used on a real one. :dance:
Other than those its the RPK that has a RS Cobra reddot sight. the rpk is of cyma brand and i use a 11.1 volt lipo in it. the inner hasnt been changed so i just use it until it breaks.

Yeah I was thinking just pouring epoxy in the openings or something. hot glue should work too, but in the texas summer it might just melt again lol.
