I've seen them both in front and back, I used to put the cateyes facing back but someone told me they go in front. Wulfram, I need your help cause you're the resident 2000s guy around here. What do I do?
They go back. If you put them front ways, the baddies will shoost at you.

I learned that the hard way.
Same way that Manta strobes, MS2000s and V-Lites all go on the back. Ideally enemy is front and friendly is at your back, so you want any visible lights or strobes to be at your back as well.

Its not mine, I was borrowing it from the legendary metalman/repulse. I want to get an Altyn but since they're honestly a huge detriment to actual playing its really hard for a practical person like myself to throw a bunch of money down for one.
Same issue with the Defender-2, my loadout is just a partizan harness (and a few personal changes) short of meeting the photo I used for my loadout, but the helmet and D-2 make it look far more professional.

Sorry I took so long to respond, but yeah, they go in the back. They're IR IFF tags so you dont get friendlies shooting you dont get shot in the back by a friendly, but an enemy cant see the IR tag.

Just throwing this out there, but my girlfriend has made me promise to go to Hazardous Containment again this year so another October road trip is by no means out of the question.

I'd definitely count me in again, the drive isn't bad and the field is nice. We got really unlucky with other things last time but there's great potential for a really fun time.
