Speaking of carry handle scopes, I've been thinking of doing one for my real AR eventually, along with a cheek riser to eliminate chin weld. I know I should probably ask this in the real guns thread, but you guys are carry handle optic nerdes, so are there are cheap real-steel carry handle scopes you guys can think of?

IDF ARs are such a random mix and match of parts it doesn't even matter that much which variant you use as the base.
I am so torn right now. I REALLY cannot decide if i want a KSC/KWA MP9 or a KJW 10/22.
I have a use for the 10/22 as a scout rifle, I would use the MP9 as a highspeedlowdrag gnu to fuck shit up.

before I started playing airsoft I was all into the tactic00l rails and accessories thing, but once I got my own combat machine and modded it, I realized just how much those extra attachments are just bulky and unnecessary.
Now I just love running a vanilla XM with irons. I've turned into a grandpa
What would really do it for me is if there were themed games. Like, knowing that [i]everyone[/i] would be running some streamlined 80s and 90s gats would make me feel so much better about running with a plain-jane XM, G3, MP5, etc. But when the current climate is basically floperators, aspiring people who cannot yet afford to be floperators/airsoftGI specials, and the very rare eccentric kit, it just makes it feel like there's a lot more pressure to just out-floperate everyone else.
I'd seriously love a good retro game scenario with everyone just running old, weather-worn rifles though. That would be sick.

-Turret that is big enough for gunner to actually fit elbows inside of

-Square off rear hull (instead of sloped like it is now), add storage space over engine compartment
