What sort of stencils are you using?
I wish to know this also, that looks badass
So I did that thing we always give little CoD kids so much shit for. Made my SR47 a "DMR" by slapping on a scope, bipod, and 20-round shorty mag. :v: [sp]To be fair, it already has a tightbore and some other internal upgrades.[/sp]
That actually looks really good with the short mag. Can you use any and all AK mags in that, or just the standard ones? You couldn't stick a drum in there, could you?
That actually looks really good with the short mag. Can you use any and all AK mags in that, or just the standard ones? You couldn't stick a drum in there, could you?
It has fitment issues with several mags I've tried, that 20-rounder is one of my converted real-steel AMD-65 mags. It MIGHT be able to accept a drum mag, but I don't have a drum to test that theory with. I also don't think I've ever seen a HurricanE SR47 with a drum in it, only regular banana mags ranging from the metal AK47 style mags to the Magpul 5.56 AK mags.
How deep is the mag well? Regular AKs dont really have a magwell, and therefore AK drums flare out right after the feed lips, whereas drums made for say ARs(with deeper magwells) are skinny for a good bit after the feed lips in order to clear the mag well
Well the back of the magwell (closest to the trigger guard) comes down about an inch over the magazine, so depending on how long the narrow part of the drum is it may not fit.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/zRhaaGF.png[/t] :suicide:
aww yeah lol [editline]17th August 2014[/editline]
and in recent news, gun-control advocates voted to ban AR-15 rifles, citing concerns that their shoulder stocks could be used as silencers
yeah I saw it and was like huh I wonder if it'd fit so I threw it on and it fit perfectly. I just wish it didn't look like the buffer tube.
[t]http://puu.sh/aX7NQ/b809ffc8d5.jpg[/t] Gun i'm working on rebuilding
you will not be acknowledged by us anymore until you put a stock onto this please us.
you will not be acknowledged by us anymore until you put a stock onto this please us.
I'll ask a friend for his next time I go, cause I'm fairly certain I don't have a spare.
This'd be your secondary task. Make do with the one you already have. Provide picture of you shouldering it.
This'd be your secondary task. Make do with the one you already have. Provide picture of you shouldering it.
What, throw the stock I have now on the end of it, and shoulder so the barrel was facing me? I don't fully understand :v:
Precisely that.
Precisely that.
alright I'll do it tomorrow since I get my new gearbox tomorrow. I have nothing holding the gun together atm.
[t]http://puu.sh/aX7NQ/b809ffc8d5.jpg[/t] Gun i'm working on rebuilding
Its bugging me how the image is ever so slightly reverse fish eyed and I keep thinking the gun is bent to hell and im like "how the hell is someone supposed to use tha- ooooooh"
Its bugging me how the image is ever so slightly reverse fish eyed and I keep thinking the gun is bent to hell and im like "how the hell is someone supposed to use tha- ooooooh"
Yeah when I threw it in photoshop I wanted to fix the lens distortion, and it was a bit too powerful. I've also got most of the things put together, but I'm going to take it to a shop because I'm doing something wrong. The motor isn't fully making contact with the gearbox and it just clicks.
Loosening the motor height adjustment screw on the bottom of the grip may help that.
Loosening the motor height adjustment screw on the bottom of the grip may help that.
I was thinking it wasn't going far enough in. I'll check it out tomorrow it's 1am lol
if it clicks it's too deep if it whirrs it's too shallow
sound sex advice
Does this also happen if there isn't enough torque to pull a spring back? Say I have an M120 spring, and a motor that only has the torque to pull a 110, would it also click and not move? I ask because I've got the motor in what I think is the right position, but it's not turning the gears. I think the motor I have is supposed to be able to pull this spring back, but I'm having trouble actually getting it to do anything. Also I'm not very experienced with the internals, I'm still learning. Yeah I'm just going to take it to a shop, I'd rather spend the money there than fuck all of this up.
Sounds more like something's jammed. What motor are you running?
