if you didnt have enough torque, your motor would pull the spring back about halfway, it wouldn't not pull it at all unless you're running like an m160 with some chinashit motor

Positive terminal is normally forward, and the neg terminal is normally behind towards the stock right? I have it set up that way because that's how the cables lead out of my gearbox.

The motor is symmetrical and can be installed either way.
Yep. Can be installed any way as long as you put the right connector on the right terminal.

Would there be much range difference between a full size CYMA AK and a CYMA ak74u? Im asking cause our fields are all woodland and I want to play with something lighter then my 416 once in a while.

Unless you get something polymer, it doesn't get lighter than a 416. ANY ak will be heavier.

i dont know if my opinion matters or not but i like it on top. Gives the gun excellent symmetry.
Makes me feel like the sides are empty. Maybe I need an m600c and a dual switch.
Throw it on the right, PEQ boxes don't look normal on top. They also obscure sights.
iirc vityaz said something before about how PEQs are supposed to go on the top of the rifle, the, that way you can press the button to emit the laser without contorting your hand in an unnatural way.

Instead of restoring it, maybe you should get a KWA mp7, way more satisfiying to shoot as it has recoil, although the price tag is more hefty then your current mp7
KWA MP7 has no recoil. That's why I didn't keep it. Its got the downsides of a gas gun without having the satisfaction of one. I've never been impressed with any KWA but the LM4 though.
The kwa mp7 does have some recoil but it's nowhere near an lm4. I shot an lm4 earlier.
If I could find a buyer, I would probably sell my mp7 and buy a we mp5

The WE MP5k is next on my anti-notrabies MP5k upgrade list. I'm just hoping it's at least close to TM spec so all my externals work with it.
