MK18 Grenadier setup. Currently weighs in at 9 pounds, doesn't help that it's using a KWA as the base gun. Bunch of parts need to be switched out to be a true MK18. Parts I'll need are: -Standard profile outer barrel for barrel mounted M203 (Current barrel is from my old CA URX that has a larger diameter under the RIS) -New PEQ-15 and Light w/ pressure switch. Dogtag has this combo, just need money to buy it. -Spectre DR, most likely fixed 4x version. -Remachine birdcage flash hider to fit the KAC Suppressor. -Paint and install SOPMOD stock. You would think it would be easy to just swap the SOPMOD stock from my SR15 onto my MK18. Well unfortunately I sort of fucked up that MOE stock about a month ago. My friend was getting pissed that his PMAGs weren't feeding. During lunch he was tossing them on the ground in an attempt to unjam them, but it wasn't working. I grabbed my MK18 and used it to bash the magazine on the ground. It cleared the jammed mag, but now my MOE stock is stuck to the buffer tube. At least it feels like a fixed stock now, no wobble at all. i like my hi capa sort of just how it is externally just looks like a modern 1911 (which it is obviously designed to be) and that just suits me fine. I love 1911s but double stack and not shit version will do me just fine.
