So it begins...
Where did you get that suppressor?
[t]https://38.media.tumblr.com/6ff6bc95ec528bf6ef353428124957b9/tumblr_nen3z0YZib1r8yspdo1_1280.jpg[/t] [t]https://33.media.tumblr.com/68821725d1ade0ac921b773b550b9981/tumblr_nen3z0YZib1r8yspdo2_1280.jpg[/t] My two TM MP5SDs, planning to build two impressions around them. The SD5 should be pretty easy to guess, and the SD6 is a no brainer.
That reminds me. I wonder what happened to SKEEA's helmets.
ITT: IFAP gets ripped off by an AirCav brony motherfucker
I almost forgot too where'd my $25 go :C
417 had a baby.
nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee that specter [editline]7th November 2014[/editline] i want an ar like that real steel so bad
ITT: IFAP gets ripped off by an AirCav brony motherfucker
What's this about?
I don't remember catching what actually happened either, I hope they're just joking. [editline]7th November 2014[/editline] Also TBH someone posted a M27+416c upper and my spot has never been more bunk
I don't remember catching what actually happened either, I hope they're just joking.
They're not. An Air Cav Kiowa crewman offered really cheap surplus air crew helmets, which some IFAPers ordered. Don't know if anybody actually got theirs. I considered ordering one myself but i decided against it because i wasnt in a financial position to spend money on frivolous items.
What's this about?
SKEEA, a member who was a repairman in the Air Cav for OH-58s (which is pretty cool and he was actually a pretty cool guy) made a thread about selling crewman's helmets like the one pictured. A bunch of us sent him money and he just never sent us the helmets. When questioned about it, he would say things like "they're on their way" or "I'll ship them ASAP" to no avail. SKEEA was also a brony.

I know SKEEA, I know everyone ordered helmets, and I was saying I don't if they're joking about him being a scammer or not.
Where did you get that suppressor?
Bought it off a guy on the Red-Alliance. It was custom made by some Polish group, unfortunately there's no actual airsoft manufacturer making TGP-As yet. But with Madbull releasing their PBS-1 and -4 then maybe we'll see new suppressors being released in the next year or two as well.
Ah I remember seeing that name around here. That's horrible and I hope you guys reported him to the proper organizations that deal with such affairs, though I have little faith in their ability to get anything done. You'd probably be better off hiring DOG the bounty hunter.
iirc he said he shipped them but army mail is weird so it probably lost them
iirc he said he shipped them but army mail is weird so it probably lost them
This. I honestly doubt he had any malicious intent. He posted for a long time before that happened, so its not like he made his account just to scam people.
I guess there's not really any way to know then. If the mail did lose them I think the right thing to do would be to give refunds regardless. But he's out some helmets assuming he shipped them so eh it is a mystery~
Gentlemen, BEHOLD! Coooooooooooorn. Thumbed because they're big and there's a lot of 'em, click for biggur [t]http://i.imgur.com/be8nMaA.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/DfHPJxU.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/ikA4Wvc.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/Kv2lK5h.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/mME6FZD.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/rJffAAZ.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/y20Xzm9.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/96gJaE2.jpg[/t] And because I am a nerd [t]http://i.imgur.com/M9rDtC4.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/oonhrfr.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/GaThEYp.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/ySSEc7p.jpg[/t] Bonus pic of the face of the TGP-A where it actually has "5.45" engraved [t]http://i.imgur.com/GMKGpTq.jpg[/t]
damn I just popped a chub for that AK
is it just me or is the flashlight and the suppressor not parallel
Tactically optimized for overhopped BB trajectory
is it just me or is the flashlight and the suppressor not parallel
It isn't you. The rails on the handguard are tilted ever-slightly. With a flashlight as long as that G&P VLI, the effect is hard to miss. It's a good thing I'm not using those rails for anything that needs to be precise, like a laser.
[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/64154701/Current%20Collection.jpg[/t] Excuse the potato camera, but this my current collection: G&G L85 A2 some old Cyma rebranded by echo one. WE G18c I have had all of them for quite a while, just never done a photo of all the stuff at once. I was planning on doing some form of a review of the L85, it has been a interesting experience even if it has had a bunch of teething troubles.
That's a very strange way to mount the eotech, but i kind of like it. I didn't even know G&G made an L85. Considering how shitty the ICS ones supposedly are, it'd be interesting to see a review of the alternative.
I've heard the G&Gs aren't bad. [editline]8th November 2014[/editline] I'm not a fan of full-size L85s (I only like the AFV or whatever the tiny one is called) so I can't give any personal opinion of them, though.
That's a very strange way to mount the eotech, but i kind of like it.
[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/64154701/EoTech%20Mounting%20L85.png[/t] It is really a cheat, the L85 has a unconventional rail system so I have a piece of ziptie under the right hand side of a raiser to keep the optic level.
[t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/9988278/airsoft2014/80s/602_5.JPG[/t] How can something be so wrong and yet so right at the same time? I found out real A1 handguards fit on this thing, so I asked to borrow my brother's A2 handguards for a while. They fit so well.

It isn't really. It's got the wrong upper receiver, lower receiver, stock, pistol grip and flash hider. The C7 has a forward assist and the brass deflector on the upper, a more modern lower with the fencing on the magwell, an A2 style stock and pistol grip, and a birdcage flash hider. What I've got is an early M16 (Colt Model 602) with a set of A2 handguards on it. I could probably make a C7 if I really wanted to, as I've got a C7 upper and most of the other bits I'd need besides the correct stock.
I still have a set of old military surplus A2 handguards around here somewhere. Maybe one of these days I'll get another M16 to put 'em on. I bought them as spares for my old G&P M16A4 but I rarely ever took the rail off so they've just been sitting around collecting dust and I kept them when I sold the G&P.

I know G&P makes one but it comes on some weird thing they call the AR15A2 or something. Really more of an early C7
