It's a G&P M733 upper. They've got the same brass deflector/forward assist combo that the C7 has, so it's pretty much perfect for a C7 build.
Oh yea, G&P also does the proper 733 upper. Most companies just use an A2 upper

Eew.
Yes I've put on gloves before handling it.
That's a nice stock. What is it?
It's the one that comes stock on the Krytac AEGs.
They're pretty damn nice.
You should move that EOtech forward

yo guise check out my oper9r phone
lacks a qr sticker tho
Haha shit, I'm totally going to do that to my case when I get home
You should move that EOtech forward
The further back it is, the closer to your eyes it is when you look through it. Meaning that the reticle is smaller. Maybe he doesn't want a huge ass crosshair
The further back it is, the worse your vision is obscured by the body of the optic, and therefore, the worse your QUIB-factor is. Most people generally put EOtechs directly above the ejection port. Its just about the happy medium for them.
The reticle doesn't appear smaller, the optic does. The reticle always stays at the same size at any given distance.

The optic appears bigger, you mean?

eotechs don't work the same as regular red dots. The closer to your eye it is, the smaller the reticle papers in the optic, the further away, the larger the reticle.

So basically it does stay the same. It just looks smaller compared to the optic itself.
That gif is an excellent way to explain why you want your EOtech in the middle of your gun.

The ideal way to describe it is that the size of the reticule, relative to your field of vision, never ever ever changes regardless of angle or distance.
thx u zordon for hologramic techology

i would add that in repro eotechs reticle becomes distorted and blurry as it gets further from eye

and on real steel ones too, as you can see from photo
Oddly enough I never had that problem with my old HurricanE EOTech, but then again it is a fairly expensive replica... or it was. Dunno how much they go for these days.
I haven't had that issue with my EOTech replica at all either and I've looked at it from like 10ft away

Unfortunately dead wrong. What you're seeing here is the effect of a holographic reticle. Since the hologram is projected 100m or feet or whatever in front of the optic, cameras with narrow depth of field, or nearsighted folk, will not be able to focus on the reticle.
If you look at the photo, notice how blurry the background is, because the camera is focused on the gun. Thus, the reticle is out of focus because physically speaking it is farther away just like the blurred background.
An old photo of mine shows the reverse effect. The camera is focused off into the distance to capture the reticle, meaning that the EOTech itself and surroundings are out of focus because they're much closer.

You can see a similar effect with a replica.

Really loving my little room-broom. Thinking about maybe getting a solid (AK-74M style) stock for it.

I really really like that, not a fan of the sling, though.
Yeah, I should get something different for it just not sure what. I don't want to go with a leather or khaki/tan/olive sling for it though. Maybe I'll see if I can track down one of those black/gray East German AK slings, that would match the mostly-black color of the gun far better than that Russian khaki-ish color most AK slings are.

Ye, me dum
forgot about camera focus
also camera on my foto is pretty much farther than eye when you're using the sight
<3
The most important thing to keep in mind is how clear the reticle appears is directly correlated to how well you would be able to see something at distance. If my camera lens was sharper the reticle would hypothetically be super crisp, but low light and distance, quality etc make it blurry.

haha my basement is so disgusting
Even though my eotech is blatantly a replica, I'm surprised at how crisp the reticle is at a distance. It doesn't even suffer from ghosting as far as I've seen.
The only issues I have with it come from the lens protector I have on it, which makes everything look really blurry and distorted when you look directly through it.
And i'll repost this because why not:

flowers
basement
it will be worse if they are fake flowers
guess what arrived today!
Sadly ASGI didn't do the best of taking care of it, one peice wasn't attached to the rifle, looks like it was banged around to all hell and there was white powder and residue all over it, Some of it won't even come off. I'm going to polish it some more when i get time, if it was scratches it's w/e but this white shit is annoying.
Evike only shipped 7 out of the 8 mags i ordered, they are sending one out next week for me already.

My current rifles (Forgot to bring the pistols out)
KWA Commando
ICS M1 Garand
King Arms M1A1

That Garand looks sexy as fuck. I don't even do WWII kits and even I'm really tempted to get one. Let us know how it holds up and performs. How's the build quality?

Really really fucking good, there is the few minor 1:1 issues like the barrels are seperated a little tiny bit compared to the reals basically merged together. It's really fucking accurate at the 40ft mark (Longest i have on my property), im going to field it tommorow even though i wanted to wait because I want to see if this gun took any internal damage from the beating it took.
The charging handle is so fucking satisfying, the mags click in securely. The hop up is really really sturdy and still easy to adjust and dial in. Battery compartment isn't a bitch because it only is good for small types, The trigger response is 10/10. I'll post a full review when i field it tommorow.
Clocked in from ASGI at 386FPS with .20's, which is a bit lower then the 400FPS Stated.
what part "wasnt attached"?
