did you paint the end of silencer or what? I wonder how to get the "burned out" effect like here
Yup, I just sprayed it a few times with a can of black paint. It might be a little harder to do on a bare metal or plastic surface, though. It took really well on the canvas wrap on my suppressor for some reason.
Would I be able to make my gun look like this by painting it black and dusting it with tan? The current colour of my gun is this sickening bright tan colour and if i were to do this by painting it black and then wearing it down, it would just end up revealing the gross colour underneath. How did you do your beautiful, beautiful paint job?
On mine, I just got a can of Rustoleum camouflage khaki paint, then lightly dusted over it from 6-12 inches away. After that I just rubbed the whole gun down lightly once or twice with a fine grit sandpaper, easy as that.
I'd say you could do it fine if you just spray your gun in flat black with a few light coats, then spray it with a light coat of matte clear coat before you dust it in khaki. That way you can use your hands instead of the sandpaper to wear down the khaki dusting a little and you won't have to worry about wearing the black off too.
I really like the medical tape on the grip. I like that dirty used look and it reminds me of Denzel Washington's hk45 in book of eli
It's good stuff, really. Cheap as hell and it provides a much more positive grip than ABS plastic. Not to mention the beat-to-shit swag in brings in.
I would've thought it would go without saying that the gun has no known drug allergies. It's a gun, after all.
I know it's supposed to be about the person using it, but to me it still seems a little silly to put that on there. The zipties on the suppressor and the shoelace seemingly holding the eotech on also seem kind of redundant, and it might've looked better if you sprayed over the 'THIS IS NOT A TOY' wall of text at the back.
The shoelace on the EOTech actually does hold it on :v: I didn't put that bit on there for oper8r effect I actually needed something to keep it in place since it's Chinashit and the MP7's recoil knocks it right off.
The ziptie on the suppressor actually holds it in place too - my flash hider is broken to hell and the suppressor won't stay on without a ziptie holding the screws in. So also not done for operator-ness, just there to literally hold the bastard together.
The NKDA/O- thing was just to fill up space since the back side of the receiver is just a vast, empty rectangle. It does the job even if it is a little silly.

Also I know I'm the only person in the world who thinks this, but for some reason I actually like the white text.
please don't kill me
There's not a whole lot you can do with the plastic tri-shots, since the way they're put together kinda precludes substantial alteration to their externals. You can attach rails fairly easily, and I've seen people hack the pistol grips off the full-stocked ones to get just a full stock (IMO it looks pretty goofy), but that's about it.
From what I've read on t3h internet, it seams the models with the retractable stock have a problem with it.
From what I've read on t3h internet, it seams the models with the retractable stock have a problem with it.
You mean the M1014 stock? They get loose, you just need to take off the stock and use a long screwdriver to tighten it up.
Ender made a guide on how to pimp out a trishot, someone should find that for me because I'm on my phone/lazy
[editline]29th November 2014[/editline]
Mainly the latter
From what I've read on t3h internet, it seams the models with the retractable stock have a problem with it.
You can also put a zip tie looping around the stock tube and the beavertail on the pistol grip. For me, that worked to permanently stop the stock wobble and keep the pistol grip from coming loose - both of which I had issues with on my M1014.
I've seen people put in tightbores in their TM shotguns on ASF, so if you're fixated on upgrading and are willing to spend on three inner barrels of your choice, go for it. Also I think I've seen people R-hopping those barrels. Hell, you could probably get three of those $150 PDI barrels, R-hop them and have yourself a trishot sniper.
Just word up, obviously IRL zipties on a suppressor is no.png because it'll melt, and NKDA and other bloodtype markings were at one point claimed to by BS by someone, saying they worked in combat medical applications and most medics would not trust any sort of patch or penned blood type markings on gear, a found a bit of chat about it here.
lol I do not into realism at all any more.
tri shots may also fail out of nowhere
ended up not being able to fire mine, and a BB found itself in the pump of the shotgun after a few dry fires
Was at an airsoft sale kinda thing where people just sold off their old airsoft stuff
Managed to pick up a good chest rig with like 10 mag pockets for MP5 mags, a rail, a suppressor and a red dot sight for $100 all in all.
Totes worth it.

Although, I think I prefer it with the ACOG

Wheres the front sight post?
Is this cod 4
I wouldn't rate him dumb because that type of M4 rail is actually supposed to have the front sight block installed, I can't imagine it's very good for the weak metal to have all of the weight on the delta ring mount, especially when actually holding it.
I think it's the correlation that because somebody did something unpopular to their gun, they obviously must be some stupid shit-eating kid that models their guns off of the ones in an overhyped video game series. Either it's a flaunt to rake in zingers because, lul cod sux bruh dont yall agree wit meh, or legitimately thinks Coyoteze is a 12 year old. Either case it was a stupid post and shouldn't have been submitted. Even as a lurker it's really embarrassing to read.
bigman i love you soo much

bb biscuit boy hello Ive been dayz for all the dayz because I have no life oh get rekt :))) how are you
Wheres the front sight post?

Used to have a flip-able front sight but replaced it with a regular one to fit the look I was going for (which was an imitation of the AR15 from I Am Legend).
Then I removed the new front sight completely because I started to get annoyed with the big black blurry line in my view from the 4x ACOG.

Fun police here, no fun allowed. God forbid somebody make a joke about a shitty over-hyped game. Goddamn.
but cod 4 was good :v:
It being the best call of duty game doesnt necessarily mean its good. It means its the one turd that wasnt green and filled with corn.
It has shit voice acting, a mediocre story, sub par graphics for the time period, and lacked a substantial amount of content for a AAA game.
for a AAA game.
From what I've seen out of so-called "AAA" game companies as of late, I'd say CoD4 was spot-on. For what I've come to expect out of the "AAA" industry, anyway.
but cod 4 was good :v:
I agree, I thoroughly enjoyed CoD 4. Personally in my top 10, maybe 5.

Even back when cod was all i could play, i still didnt really have that much fun with it. The worst part of that game by far is the marine captain's voice. Sounded like an industrial cheese grater gargling blenders filled with gravel. After going back and playing it, i cant say im particularly impressed.
But there aren't any ARs in counter strike that look anything even remotely like that.
I'm thinking it's a joke.
Unless there's something in GO that lets you customize the looks of your guns, since I haven't played GO and wouldn't know about any of that.
conflicting opinions about video games
i must share this on the internet and ruin someones fun
conflicting opinions about video games
im not allowed to share my opinion on the internet or even make a joke about it for fear of "ruining someones fun"
Fixed that for you.
when someone posts something they are proud of and want to share, the last thing they want is someone making fun of it
there is criticism and constructive criticism, and unless it is something abhorrent the latter is generally accepted
