But there aren't any ARs in counter strike that look anything even remotely like that.
Fairly certain in CS 1.6 the world model for the M4a1 had a silencer and a scope.
Fairly certain in CS 1.6 the world model for the M4a1 had a silencer and a scope.
I don't recall there ever being a scope on it, but there was a suppressor you could take off and put on. It also didn't have a RIS. Oh and it still had a front sight.
I think the scope and suppressor world model was from an earlier version, like 1.5 or something.
There's always been the optional suppressor, but none of the standard CS M4s have ever had ACOGs- [t]http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140715020922/cswikia/images/c/ce/Beta_Aug.png[/t] WELL THEN. I'm wrong, it seems. Though I was 7 years old when this model was in CS so I don't feel bad about not knowing of it existing.
Am I horrible or am I horrible? The eye relief on them is fucking horrible though. Can you even aim with that?
lol no

I quite enjoyed the storyline of the black ops series.

I suppose it does, sort of. It's still Counter Strike even if I didn't know about it.
when someone posts something they are proud of and want to share, the last thing they want is someone making fun of it there is criticism and constructive criticism, and unless it is something abhorrent the latter is generally accepted
"Where's the front sight post?" followed by "is this cod4" is a question, not an insult, and not a criticism, followed up by a simple joke. It's amazing how much shit i get for being testy and generally anal and then you pull this shit. Again, if anybody but me posted that, we wouldnt even be talking about it.
Please don't fight....
Again, normally not one to take Ossum's side on a lot of things but all the blatant shitposting against him as of late is really starting to piss me off. What the fuck did I miss that made you people hate him so much?
I quite enjoyed the storyline of the black ops series.
Blops 1 and 2 were my favorite cods after 4. especially 2, because of the way the campaign played. being able to customize your loadouts, the perk that let you access extra areas, the strike team missions, and the branching paths of the storyline really made it feel more like a game than a 6 hour long interactive movie. Could have just asked where the front sight was. [editline]30th November 2014[/editline] -snip- I actually posted this in the wrong thread, here have something thats actually on topic got some bits for my ARX. Could put them on my Tavor once I get the side rail [t]http://i.imgur.com/7gjsUY8.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/CXyO71h.jpg[/t]
I liked Black Ops 1 a lot more than 2, partly due to the setting. Black Ops 2 is still pretty great, especially the customizable equipment before every mission, I'm just not a huge fan of the future stuff. I personally think MW2 gets a little overlooked. Whilst Cod4 was great and MW3 is where the series shit the bed, MW2 had some great missions and setpeices like the first snow level, the assaults on the oil rig and the prison, and all the levels set in the US whilst the Russians are invading. I still think there are some cool parts in MW3, but everything generally feels worse than any of the other games. And now I'm done being off-topic, I just wanted to throw my two cents in.

Also I dislike MW2 because of how over the top it became. Sure the set pieces were cool, but it took the perfectly paced story of 4 and put it on speed. Also, any game where the plot is America being invaded kinda loses something to me. Blops 2 sort of had that as well, and that sort of blemishes it for me, but it makes a little more sense. Menendez's forces only attacked the aircraft carrier that Menendez was on to break him out and LA to kill the POTUS and the other world leaders that were there. And they were assisted by ALL of America's drones, which they had started to learn on more military force. in MW2, Russia straight up INVADES America, and out vast intelligence network never seemed to notice they were massing and mobilizing troops or planning an invasion at all. CoD4- James Cameron MW2- Roland Emmerich if he showed restraint Blops2- Paul Veerhoven MW3 -Roland Emmerich on cocaine

Also my Colt 653, older picture (hence the thicker border)
I'm pleasantly surprised how good that 177 brake looks on that Galil.
I'm pleasantly surprised how good that 177 brake looks on that Galil.
Yeah, the 177 comp is an awesome looking muzzle device. I like putting it on carbines to make them look more rifle-y. IRL it's also a super nifty piece of magic, doubling as both a flash suppressor and a sound suppressor.
tfw I will never own a Galil why are they all out of stock
I saw one in a store today and I wanted it, but knew Tai just got one. The store has had it sitting there for so long. They'd probably give a hella deal on it. The box is caked in dust. I don't need bbgats though. I'm still trying to get rid of mine.
M653 is still my favorite AR carbine. Muh platoon

I picked my up for $205 and got a $20 gift card for spending over $200 so I was pretty happy. It shoots like an absolute dream, very very happy with this one.

And now I'm done being off-topic, I just wanted to throw my two cents in.
The problem with MW3 is that it didn't really introduce anything new to the series. WaW brought zombies, MW2, while horribly broken in countless aspects, brought a huge overhaul to customization with pro perks, way more attachments and killstreaks. Black Ops brought in CoDpoints (which IMO should have been kept as part of CoD), the removal of Stopping Power and Juggernaut, and bringing an overall good balance to the game as well as having a great campaign. MW3 felt like the training wheels that it was for the new team at IW. It had a horrendous film grain effect and didn't try out anything new or interesting or really built upon any existing platform. Sure it had that whole strike package thing, but it didn't have a large effect on gameplay. A lot of people give CoD 4 way more credit than it deserves. It was the first of its kind and paved the way for all other CoD games. But it was also broken. Martyrdom, RPGs, the horrid balance that gave rise to only a few guns being actually used. MW2 had problems like these but it was far worse, which made a lot of people herald CoD 4 as the supreme CoD, and later BO when it came out, hoping to escape MW2. When BO turned out to be below expectations, many fans seemed to go back to the previous games, including MW2.
Im pretty sure we were both talking about singleplayer. multiplayer is another story, but this conversation has gone on far too long in a thread it isnt supposed to belong
when firing a gun from a bipod, you generally dont hold the foregrip with your non-dominant hand like you would when firing standing, you usually rest it somewhere on the stock, or supporting the stock: the rear vert grip on the L86 just gives you a more convenient place to put your off-hand when firing from a bipod/supported position

It looked kinda odd at first.
[t]https://i.imgur.com/KbGiSDA.jpg[/t] Testing our new camera in my room, which is a lighting nightmare (all dark furniture, kind of darkish walls, eco-bulp in a big fixture with matte glass). Not bad. Since I'm in full chairsoft mode, I removed the part of the M249 box mag that slides in as an M4 mag, so now the belt kinda flows down alongside the gun, not resting on the feed tubes and shit.
Got my Angry Gun Wire Cutter rail in! Matching Battlecomp 1.5 will be here within the week. It looks fuckhuge because it is! 16.2 inches. [sp]yes I'm compensating for something[/sp] I just put the order in for a rail bungee and a flashlight, so those should break up the profile of the rail nicely.

As for the rest of the gun, I plan on picking up a different body without those annoying trades, as well as a new set of not-shitty BUIS. I'm also deciding on what type of grip system to use. The AFG is okay for now but I don't really like it with the long rail. Either gonna go with a setup like Costa has here: or just a MagPul handstop kit. Also need to find a better mount for the T1 because the stock one is fuuuuugly. Also need a new hop-up... And a new inner barrel... and a Mosfet. and new stock. Different fire selector. Shim job. Wire to deans. New battery. Help.
For some reason i always go for the magwell for grip just to push it into my shoulder more. Can hold it out longer and it feels more stable. im just a scrub though
