I really liked my Barska short dot. No dot though. Just a scope. Crystal clear.
Nothing notable but I removed the monopod off my Type 99

it looks more 5% more homeless and I like it
Have you ever thought about getting someone to machine you a new front sight to replace the broken one? It doesn't look like a very complex shape to make.

Order the sight and get it scanned or modeled for a CNC mill/3D printer. CNC mill would be quality for cost, 3D printer would be easily replaceable and cheap.
I mean 600 New Tactical Dollars™ is only like 30 cents and they can probably just ship that in a regular envelope for pretty cheap.
My Cyka, a Cyma CM045A!
Swapped an MP5 for it with my friend.

Gonna restain that wood as soon as I can though.
Also, got an AKMS incoming soon. Thinking of turning it into an NGV-81 in .222...
So I finally got around to staining the wood on my Svd,

[sp]excuse the shitty phone/shaky hands pic, it's cold.[/sp]
That is after one coat of stain, should I go for two?
Thank you for confirming that the paracord that I used was, in fact, paracord.
Revisiting an old classic. I missed my old one, and RedWolf's Cyber Monday sale gave me a perfect opportunity to get a new one.
Tanaka Colt Single Action Army heavyweight detachable cylinder model, civilian (4.75") barrel length

Gameplan:
Wooden grips (when I decide what type of wood and what style I want - suggestions?)
Leather holster
Shooters Design aluminum outer barrel (after Christmas)
Shooters Design aluminum receiver (kinda low priority right now but we'll see how my money looks in the next month or so)

How good are those? I've been toying with the idea of getting one for years now, and while they have some obvious limitations I always like the idea of a fun gun that you have to reload frequently.

If you want a reliable, skirmishable revolver that isn't retardedly overpowered like most of the WinGun CO2 models, Tanaka is really the only way to go honestly. Decide on what style of revolver you want (e.g. Python, SAA, S&W M19, w/e) and then read up on the reviews for that particular model. Some Tanaka revolvers are better suited for in-game use than others.
That being said, if I still actively played instead of mostly just collecting, I would not hesitate to use this in a game. That's part of why I went with this model instead of the Jupiter models that have a significantly nicer finish, just in case I decide to take it to a field. I'd kinda feel bad if I took a Jupiter Finish model to a game and ended up fucking up the finish on it lol
Yeah I was talking about the Tanaka SAA in particular, since I just want to be Revolver Ocelot and loudly shout about the THRILL OF RELOADING while being partially behind cover. But now that you mention it, a Colt Python would also be very high up on my list of cool guns to have.
I used to have a Tanaka Colt Python.
Not gonna lie, I like the SAA better. The action on the Python just wasn't smooth at all, but it may have simply been too new and needed to be broken in.
I love the SAA, 6 shots is more than enough to kill anything that moves. Theyre pretty good.

I love my revolver, but it's so weak and feels kind of fragile so I'm always hesitant about skirmishing it. I have actually definately got someone with it though, which is more than i can say for some of my other guns.
Not a heavyweight model, I take it? I used to have an M29 that was the heavyweight model and there was nothing fragile-feeling about it. Thing was solid as a rock, just like my SAA.
I'm not sure how the Kokusai revolvers compare to Tanakas, but it's reasonably solid. The frame, grip and cylinder are metal, and they feel quite sturdy and well-made, but the barrel is plastic and the way it attaches to the frame doesn't seem the most secure. I'm mostly concerned about breaking the internals from shooting it too much.
just buy a few of those hfc gas revolvers. they shoot like 330 fps and had decent range. theyre cheap too, so if it break you can just get another. I think I bought mine for like $25? It broke after someone literally tackled me and crushed the gun against their body

if youre looking for something that is just fun, not a wall hanger.
HFC revolvers are junk. They don't even feel good in the hand, and Tanakas are definitely not just wall-hangers...
i know they arent JUST wall hangers but
i am aware hfc is junk. its fun junk tho.
i have a hfc revolver and i love it tbh
it sucks but thats half the reason why its fun to use
I have a CYMA Mauser C96 springer that I've taken to CQB games with. It's actually gotten kills too, which my old CA SCAR-L can't claim. Using shitty guns is actually kinda fun.

Like there's a spectrum of shittiness, with springers on one end and VFCs and Realswords on the other. Once you go below LPEGs and the really bad AEGs into the realm of springers, everything is fun as fuck.
Ender's next airsoft purchases are a springer M1 Carbine and a springer RFB.
I'm not kidding.
theres a springer RFB?
I'm getting one.

Stole that idea, and also painted my gun again. It sort of looks like ACU, but not as bright.

Also made night sights (which was an absolute PITA so the rear sight is just a line)

I have a springer colt mk25 and i carry that sometimes. I've only gotten 1 kill with it though

im gotten 5 or so kills with my spring SW5906
There's a desert camo springer P99 Monkeyman and I found in the lost and found at HGA, we let the refs carry it to check who's calling hits and to keep them entertained.
The previous owner had "Possum Tamer" written on the slide, and this is the official term we use for referring to it.
