We G&P now.
Bought it off Stabby, brand new and after fixing the hop up it shoots great. Maybe one day i'll R-hop it once i'm more comfortable with working on guns.
The ROF with the battery that I bought with it (3300 mah 9.6 G&P battery, designed for the gun's stock) is really good.
It was so satisfying being talifap yesterday and using it to ambush teams. I wrecked one team with it, it was amazing.
That's one fine ass gun.

I've always really liked the bird shit white CR-21s from District 9. Adapted the look as per my personal preference.
The prime factor behind all of this was how dinky the gun looked on me in its vanilla form. The default configuration on a FAMAS tends to only look pretty on 5'10" operative types [I](it looked absolutely [I]splendid[/I] on the kid I bought it from.)[/I] Unfortunately for me, I'm 6 and a half feet tall, and built like Aeon Flux. I had to do something about it.

Another factor that sparked the desire to delete the standard body on it was how back-heavy it all was due to the gearbox's location. After the fact, I fed the barrel into a section of 10mm hose, and using the bipods I broke off, created a frame for the battery and skull setup.
I added a small lead weight under his jaw for good measure.

Functionally, this whole getup favors one-handed spray 'n pray.
The padding in the thumb section and general augmentations to the weapon's balancing make this a very luxurious and satisfactory experience.
Shifting into more conventional handling is very possible, if awkward.
How does one aim with that gun?
For now it's quake IRL
It's great for CQB and general blasting around aimlessly (read: no aiming)
In the event that I actually gotta try blowing someone's head off, I have a pistol coming in the mail.

despite what other posters might say, I think that looks really cool. It's really nice to see people making guns that they like, and this is definitely unique. The paint job on the skull is really nice and the overall finish looks great for what it is. Good craftsmanship, to say the least.
I personally love it when people rig up their own guns, whether they may be based off real weapons like catbarf's SPAS-12 or fictional weapons like Ender's M6C. Keep it up and keep being creative!
