They're literally just fancy looking grenade launchers. You put regular shower-grenades in them and fire them through the fake rocket. Some of them you can fire without the rocket part or you actually need to take it off. There are two or three different replicas out there.
Also does the real steel PKM not have a handguard? How do you not burn yourself? Do you always have to fire it holding the carrying handle or setting the bipod down? Can't shoulder it?

oh whoop, missed out on the "G&G Armament" on the upper receiver and the trades, haha. That gun should hold up well; G&G's SCAR-L performs better than VFC's. Just be careful with the wiring to the stock, since it doesn't use VFC style contacts.

It gives a really fantastic balance to the gun, and the M3 light is my favorite feeling pistol light of all time. The controls on it are very easy to operate while shooting, and it performs quite well.
But if it was just 5 millimeters shorter it wouldn't affect the balance that much.
Anyway, that's just me nitpicking, the gun is looking great either way.
