I love my Taco pouches, they're the only highspeed thing I own, but they're worth it.

Also, got carried away with the steel brush, so I made my SVD rust free(mostly)!

That's one sexy SVD. Which one is it?
Also, that's literally the first time I've pulled the SVD out of its box since I moved here 9 months ago :(
[editline]19th May 2013[/editline]
Its the Real Sword.
[editline]19th May 2013[/editline]
I've also found out that the stock wobble wasn't caused by a crack in the wood, but by a loose screw, so besides the small amount of rust and scratches, its like its brand new again!
Lucky you. I absolutely love SVDs, but had to settle with a A&K spring action SVD. The Real Sword's just so expensive.

True, but its probably the most accurate gun available out of the box, and one of the best sniper/DMR platforms available with proper upgrades.
Considering how long and heavy SVD's are, I think its crazy to field one unless you can shoot bb's to the moon and back, so I saved for mine and never looked back.
Sadly, I never play outside anymore, and the ridiculous weight makes it challenging to play in a proper DMR role, so its for sale regardless of how cool it is.
I never meant that in a bad way. It's just that I would have to save my money up for 3 months just to buy a RS SVD. Obviously it's ridiculously good stock.

No I got what you meant. And lucky you, I got this when I was working at a grocery store while in high school, so it took me most of a year to save for it, and due to bullshit preorder stuff, it took me almost 2 years before I actually got it.
I work at a supermarket. I normally get about €150, though I got €300 this month for some reason. Probably because I worked a lot more. My budget's not exactly that big either.

(yes this actually feeds and fires.)
Saying a Bizon isn't an AK is like saying an AR-57 isn't an AR. A different magazine and minor differences in mechanism don't make it uniquely different from the base platform. For some people that's enough difference to justify the price tag, for others it's not.
Edit: On second thought the AR-57 is a bad comparison since the Bizon is straight blowback. A better comparison is the Colt 9mm SMG. I think most would call that an AR.

How is the XCR? Isn't the OEM VFC?
Yeah, the externals are amazing (It is VFC) not even a wobble in the stock. Its full metal so theres some decent heft to it. As for the internals they're not bad, i did run into a problem with stripping the piston though (The tech said it was because of the spring installed to get it across the boarder (Needs to be above 366) so im assuming the pistol was polymer and couldnt handle the extra power?)
Ahh yes, silly canadian laws that specify a MINIMAL velocity/power for airsoft guns..

no it's just because vfc stock pistons are ass
why can't you just put one magazine into your cart and set the quantity as 2?
which is my stock piston has gone through over 40k rounds and has zero to no wear on it.
and aoe wasnt even correct.
After two months of learning and research, a month of design, and another three months of chasing up orders and waiting for stuff to be back in stock, my first self-assembled Airsoft weapon is finally complete. Mousepad gun has matured.
