aegs don't utilize the charging handle except for hopup or some blowback aegs have a function to make it realistic, but other than that it's all aesthetics.

Removing the magwell makes it easily adjustable as well, altough it is much less convenien (if at all)t than pulling the handle
On topic of G36s, I'm not sure wheter I should get an extra sight.
Honestly wanted to put an EoTech sight on the upper rail, as I don't find the iron sights extremely comfortable (might just be my lack of experience). Should I get one in the near future or scrap the idea completely?
If you remove the magwell how are you going to test if the hop is adjusted correctly?

Hey man, like, that's just your opinion man....
No but to be fair, in my opinion goatse on the side instead of the zombie killer shit would look better. And my dad runs it without the foregrip, so the duct tape DOES give a little extra grip on the magwell, which he sometimes uses.
But i do hear what you're saying. It's only a temporary cover until i find him a new receiver.
Just sand that shit off if you're going to cover it with tape anyway.

Trust me when i say im not upset over this, but i am exasperated. You guys are missing the memo that it's NOT MY GUN. Nothing that has been done to it(tape included) was not done without me and my dad agreeing on it. And, if i'm honest? My dad runs shit how HE wants it run, not how YOU GUYS want it run.
While i take most everything you guys say into consideration, he won't. I can tell you right now, they is a 0% chance that he would let me deface the only receiver we have for his gun. Tape is as far as he's willing to go, because he doesn't like the trades either.
SO. If you have comments that concern the trades, please, PLEASE don't voice them. I'm not the one to ask, because, again, it's not my gun. Last time i tried doing stuff with his gun without him, i messed up a motor. I think you are also blurring the lines between ownership here, and i don't mean between me and my dad. You guys seem to make a ton of comments telling other people how they should run their weapons, how they should use them, etc. There is a fine line between giving a suggestion, such as "Hey, i noticed you're using X optic. I think for your purposes, a Y optic would work a lot better for you for Z reason." And then there's "You should do this because it would look more aesthetically pleasing to me." I shouldn't have to defend or explain why my DAD does something with HIS gun.
So instead of nitpicking tiny, pointless shit, how about we....enjoy the pictures?
